With Liverpool's two new strikers both eager to play as much as possible, Arne Slot has a few big decisions to make on how to keep Isak and Ekitike happy
Transcript
00:00How do Liverpool keep Alexander Izak and Ugo Ekotike happy?
00:04Well, Slott could simply rotate the pair.
00:06Liverpool are playing twice a week most weeks and the Reds will need two strikers,
00:10but this comes with two risks.
00:12A natural hierarchy emerging with one of the two playing the lesser games,
00:16or inconsistent minutes resulting in neither striker hitting the heights they're capable of.
00:21Could they both play at the same time?
00:23Both Izak and Ekotike possess the skill set to play out wide,
00:26with the latter likely to be the one moved.
00:28But Cody Gakpo has been Liverpool's most productive attacker on the left this season,
00:33and would Ekotike be happy and able to offer the defensive work needed as a winger in Liverpool's system?
00:38Or maybe Slott goes old school, two strikers in a partnership.
00:42This would require a sacrifice elsewhere, likely Mo Salah, Liverpool's talisman and greatest Premier League attacker.
00:49He has started the season slowly, but how would that play out at Liverpool throughout the season?
00:53And can a team still compete for the biggest trophies while sacrificing either width or an extra midfielder?
00:59Assuming neither of them are happy to play second fiddle to the other,
01:02Arnest Slott has a job on his hands.
