00:00We just had a ranch show come out that was taking city folk, and it's still listening to our fans.
00:03We want to hear what you want to see.
00:06And people are saying, well, if we want to leave the city, whether it's because we can't afford the city,
00:09or whether it's we want that ranch lifestyle, can you inspire us?
00:12So we did a show, and it was funny to take people outside the city to this ranch life.
00:16They thought it was going to be easy, staring at the mountains and sipping their wine, but it's hard work.
00:20But aside from that, the new show is another one that our fans were asking for,
00:24and it's the whole process again, from house hunting, getting that offer in,
00:28renovating the house, and it's so interesting to see the different dynamics of families
00:32and what they feel that they don't want to touch their home because they just don't know where to start.
00:36But we come in, they're under pressure, but we take that pressure off their shoulders and get them into their home.
00:40If we had a room of 100 families that had just purchased or renovated a home,
00:45and we said, how many of you felt that you were so under pressure that you want to quit the whole process?
00:51I guarantee you, every hand would go up right now because that's just the state that we're in right now,
00:56the cost of renovations, the chaos.
00:58So this is a show that shows the good, the bad, and the ugly.
01:01But we...
01:02Whoa, whoa, wait.
01:02Were we pointing that there?
01:03Yeah.
01:04This is...
01:05It's really good.
01:05So we're excited for people to see it.
01:06You realize we're twins, right?
01:08It's true.
01:08We do share our face.
01:09Oh, my gosh.
01:09I mean, from the early days, right out of high school,
01:12when Jonathan and I started renovating houses, you know, early 90s,
01:16we were involved with the ReStore.
01:18Habitat has a ReStore.
01:19We didn't know what it was at first.
01:20We realized that this is where builders and other professionals,
01:23they donate materials, or even homeowners can donate materials that are either brand new,
01:26excess material that they need, or even, you know, cabinets are in great shape.
01:31And so we started donating the ReStore.
01:32We started buying from the ReStore, and it's all...
01:35That's all a part of helping support Habitat.
01:37And over the years, we've evolved with our TV brand to showcase what we do through our channels.
01:42I love what Habitat does to be able to bring so many people together globally
01:46to make a huge difference for families at home.
01:48Well, this is the 2025 Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project,
01:52and it's poignant because this is the first year since the loss of President Carter,
01:57and we know that the best way to honor his legacy is to keep the work going.
02:01So we are building 25 homes here in Austin this week,
02:04but we're also building homes in 60 rural communities with our rural rally.
02:08And the idea of the Carter Project has always been not just to build a home,
02:11but to bring attention to the need for safe and affordable housing all around the world.
02:16So we hope to inspire the thousands of people here not to just have a great week,
02:21but to go back to wherever they came from and hopefully get involved in housing.
02:25Yeah, and there's a shortage of almost 4 million houses across the country, which is crazy.
02:31And so everything we've tried to do with our voice is to spread awareness,
02:35you know, giving families the chance to live in safe, happy, healthy, and affordable homes.
