El huracán&nbsp;Melissa&nbsp;toca tierra en el suroeste de Jamaica, cerca de New Hope, como un poderoso huracán de categoría 5. El fenómeno presenta vientos de hasta 295 kilómetros por hora, según la última actualización del Centro Nacional de Huracanes de EE UU, y ya ha provocado lluvias y cortes eléctricos, unos efectos que también se han sentido en República Dominicana y Haití y que tienen al sur de Cuba en alerta.&nbsp;

00:37It means that you will experience wind speeds that are approaching 300 kilometers per hour.

00:45This is round about 185 miles per hour.

00:49That's what the system is packing as a Category 5 hurricane.

00:53And much of that will be within the eye wall.
