00:19judging i'd be watching right i'm a fan of the show and this season especially i've been just
00:24these tiktoks have been very entertaining lately um i must say these uh people who really are
00:31convincing me that they're ballroom experts you know and um it's fascinating to see the community
00:36that has been built um but the bullying is what should stop is not something that i promote
00:43obviously however i do promote people's opinions and i love that people are very passionate about
00:48the show honestly i think it's just a lot of new fans that don't know maybe or are not familiar with
00:53the show right like this is never this is nothing new what we're seeing is nothing new
00:58um as far as andy he's such a sweet man i mean again nothing new there right this has happened
01:04many seasons prior to this one as far as dance experience nothing new there um i think what people
01:10i think the difference is that the dancers especially are being a lot more open with their
01:14content so like mark is showing behind the scenes of what he does and people think it's favoritism
01:20it's not favoritism i mean i did that i did exactly what mark did though i don't have a musical
01:25background like mark i just knew when to add certain accents and there's also a lot of new pros
01:30who may not know you know and that's the benefit of these some of the pros that have experienced they
01:35they know people behind the scenes and they know what they can ask for so i think it's just um people
01:41are sensing that but then they don't see other pros do it but that's a choice it's all a choice i'm
01:46definitely going to be looking for authenticity i think you know that can be a big word but
01:51authenticity meaning to the style of dance and especially when it comes to ballroom i mean i
01:57am the first to say that i am definitely not an expert in contemporary or jazz but i am in ballroom
02:02and i will be looking for technique that's executed the the right way that has been written in technique
02:09books because that's just what i know right so i'm going to focus and stay in my lane as far as that goes
02:14um but i also would love to i'm a very emotional dancer i would say uh when i was a dancer back in
02:21my heyday um but i believe with halloween night too sometimes you know the passion can overpower
02:29the dance and i would like that to be turned on its head a little bit but also i don't want perfection
02:37i'm not looking for perfection it's the imperfections and the detail and within that is what makes ballroom
