00:06After a two-year break from acting, Jennifer Lawrence is back on the press circuit promoting
00:10her upcoming film, Die, My Love. Lawrence first stepped away from work in 2019 before going on
00:18to co-star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Don't Look Up in 2021. She subsequently took another
00:25two years off following the release of the 2023 romantic comedy, No Hard Feelings. Appearing
00:32on The Graham Norton Show on October 17th, the Oscar winner discussed taking time away
00:37from Hollywood. When Norton asked her if she was ever concerned about Hollywood not letting
00:42her back into the fold, she shared her mixed feelings.
00:46I was at peace with that possibility of that happening. Hollywood is a lot, she said.
00:51I think I would have been fine, she added before quipping. Well, I mean, no, I would
00:56be really upset.
00:58The Silver Linings playbook actress revealed that doing movie after movie throughout her
01:0320s led to a bout of burnout and resulted in her first hiatus, which happened to coincide
01:08with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in
01:142023, Lawrence told the host her role in Darren Aronofsky's 2017 thriller Mother.
01:21was a challenging filming experience. I never lose myself in a movie. This is the only time
01:26I've lost myself, she shared.

01:33Lawrence's upcoming movie, Die, My Love, is another psychological thriller, which sees her
01:39star opposite Robert Pattinson. Directed by Lynne Ramsey and produced by Martin Scorsese,
01:45the dark film follows a young couple from New York City as they move into an old house in
01:50rural Montana. The film received widespread critical acclaim after premiering at the 2025 Cannes Film
01:57Festival in May. It's set to hit theaters in the United States on November 7.
