An Aston Villa fan has spent six years and thousands of pounds building an incredible Subbuteo-inspired replica of their Premier League stadium.

00:07Brackley area I've been a Villa fan now since 1971 and had a hobby is playing

00:15Subutio which is an old football game and from about the age of eight I've

00:20wanted to build a Villa Park Stadium and now I've realized my dream 13,048

00:28seats ten foot eight by seven foot seven all these people you see in the

00:33stadium most of them have been donated or people have donated funds for me to

00:39paint them and raised just over four thousand pounds for a charity and do it

00:45for defib it's still nowhere near finished I want to get the stadium roofs on but I

00:52can't do that until I've got the seats filled the reaction to the stadium from

00:58has come from all over the world I'm absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of

01:02people who have been in touch people in Australia Norway South Africa America

01:09Argentina so the people from all over the world have just been in touch and a lot

01:14of people want actually to come and spend some time here to have a look

01:24find it on Facebook so I've been building the stadium now since 2019 I had a big

01:31effort when Covid hit and I was furloughed from work so we I had a whole

01:39three weeks off work where I built the Trinity Road stand and then everything

01:44spiralled from there yes it's got much larger than what originally planned but I'm

01:52glad that it did some of this stand you see across here the Dogelis stand our

01:57old Cebucio stands most of the rest this was completely hand-built the whole tend

02:01being a Villa fan it's obviously a great time to be with us at the moment you

02:06and I Emery is working wonders with the club now only been there for what three

02:09years he's working wonders we're going to be winning trophies soon aren't we guys
