00:00Prince William wants to bring change to the firm.
00:06According to an insider, the Prince of Wales may cause controversy within the royal family
00:10when he succeeds King Charles III and begins to rule in his own way.
00:15A source close to the firm claims Prince William will ruffle a few feathers when he becomes
00:19the King of England.
00:20However, with King Charles III still alive, the father and son will remain on the same
00:25page about future changes.
00:27During a conversation with Eugene Levy for his Apple TV Plus show, The Reluctant Traveler,
00:32Prince William got candid about moving the royal family in a new direction.
00:37Change is on my agenda.
00:38Change for good.
00:40And I embrace that.
00:41I enjoy that change, he said.
00:43I don't fear it.
00:44That's the bit that excites me.
00:45The idea of being able to bring some change.
00:48Not overly radical, but changes that I think need to happen.
00:51Royal author Carolyn Harris thinks there are already differences between how Prince William
00:55and King Charles III perform their royal duties.
00:59In his public comments, Prince William has been a cautious Prince of Wales compared to
01:03his father, who openly shared his views on a wide variety of topics including organic
01:08farming and architecture.
01:09She said, While King Charles was an outspoken Prince of Wales who became a cautious innovator
01:14as king, Prince William may follow an opposite trajectory.
01:18As a more cautious Prince of Wales who becomes a vocal advocate for change as king, Craig Prescott,
01:24a royal expert and professor at Royal Holloway, University of London, believes Prince William
01:29is serious about taking action to improve the firm.
01:32We have seen that he's interested in Royal without a capital R. That he's interested
01:37in having an impact, he said.
01:39But this is the most explicit we have seen Prince William in thinking about all of this.
01:43It's also the strongest indication that he will make changes rather than just float them
01:47as ideas.
01:49What we don't know is just how radical those changes will be.
