00:23There's a brand new period drama called The Foresights coming to PBS that will hold you

00:27over until the new seasons of Bridgerton and the Gilded Age.

00:31Yes, a brand new version of the story, this time titled The Foresights, is coming to PBS

00:37in 2026.

00:39The Foresights follows four generations of the Foresight family who work in investment

00:43in Victorian London.

00:45And like any good period drama about families, they have to deal with duty, romance and responsibility.

00:51It was an honor to be asked to write a bold new reimagining of Gaulsworthy's epic saga,

00:57writer Debbie Horsfield said in a statement.

00:59Our show is in part a prequel to the events of the first book, but also an opportunity

01:04to expand the world and place the Women of the Family Center stage.

01:08It's a love letter to the original story, while offering an exciting new perspective.

01:13The Foresights brings together a stellar cast led by Stephen Moyer as Jolyon Sr.,

01:18the family patriarch, and Francesca Annis as matriarch Anne Foresight.

01:23Joining them are Danny Griffin as Jo, Tuppence Middleton as Frances, and Eleanor Tomlinson as

01:28Louisa Byrne, Jo's first love.

01:31Rounding out the ensemble are Jack Davenport as James, Joshua Orpin as Soames, Millie Gibson

01:36as Irene, Tom Durant-Pritchard as Monty, Josette Simon as Ellen, Owen Igihon as Isaac, and Jamie

01:46The Foresights will feature six episodes, all penned by Debbie Horsfield.
