Montha Cyclone. Cyclone Montha has hit Telangana. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of rain in Telangana for three days due to the impact of the cyclone. It has warned that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in the north-northeast districts for two days. Due to the impact of the cyclone, there is a possibility of rain at places in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Nagarkurnool districts of the state on Tuesday (October 28), the IMD said.
మోంథా తుఫాను ఎఫెక్ట్ తెలంగాణపైన పడింది. తుఫాన్ ప్రభావంతో తెలంగాణలో మూడు రోజుల పాటు వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేసింది. ఉత్తర ఈశాన్య జిల్లాల్లో రెండు రోజుల పాటు భారీ నుంచి అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని హెచ్చరించింది. తుఫాన్ ప్రభావంతో మంగళవారం (అక్టోబర్ 28) రాష్ట్రంలోని ఆదిలాబాద్, నిర్మల్, నిజామాబాద్, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, ఖమ్మం, నల్గొండ, సూర్యాపేట, మహబూబాబాద్, వరంగల్, హన్మకొండ, యాదాద్రి భువనగిరి, వికారాబాద్, సంగారెడ్డి, మెదక్, కామారెడ్డి, నాగర్ కర్నూల్ జిల్లాలలో అక్కడక్కడ కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని ఐఎండీ తెలిపింది.
