Presentato in anteprima mondiale il 26 ottobre alla Festa del Cinema di Roma 2025, No Place Like Rome è il nuovo film di Cecilia Miniucchi, regista italiana trapiantata a Hollywood che per la prima volta dirige un film in Italia. Ci ha raccontato di questa avventura insieme a Rhada Mitchell, co-protagonista del film.
03:18Hai imparato qualcosa di nuovo sulle città durante questo processo, questa produzione?
03:24Sì, ho imparato come fare i film di qui, che non ho mai conosciuto prima, perché ho solo lavorato in America.
03:32Sì, tutto è nuovo. Io ho venuto qui prima prima, per una notte, 20 anni fa o qualcosa.
03:39E' una notte di una notte notte, dove si è venuto in un Vespa e in un coliseum.
03:45Ma come in here, I think it was 10 days, so I got an opportunity to kind of really explore and to go into the spaces and get close to the history.
03:56And walking around, it's just such a great city, just to roam, roam and roam.
04:03But that wasn't a surprise, I was kind of aware that was going to happen.
04:07I was telling someone else earlier that what I was surprised by was the churches.
04:11I didn't expect there to be such energy in them.
04:14They're really sacred spaces, very beautiful spaces, so that was a surprise, actually.
