A new poll suggests most people think Prince Andrew should no longer use his royal titles. We asked people in Birmingham whether he should lose them altogether — and whether he should keep living at Royal Lodge.
00:00Well, the bottom line there is that he should be held to the same standards as anybody else.
00:07So, you know, he's a citizen of the country and therefore what should happen to him is exactly the same sort of thing that should happen to everybody else.
00:14So the question we need to ask is whether somebody, let's imagine it was, I don't know, a knight or something like that,
00:21somebody with a peerage, would they be able to keep their peerage if they'd been found guilty of doing the things that he's accused of doing?
00:27And the answer to that is no.
00:29Yes, he should definitely lose his royal titles and I believe he is moving out anyway. That's what I've read today.
00:36Personally, I think he should lose them because there's a sign, isn't that, no one is above the law.
00:43But I think up to now he's proved that there is because he seems to be above the law.
00:48If the opinion of British aristocrats and British royal family falls down and they become hated, it's going to be terrible.
