00:00Hey Pepsters, this is Bernie once again.
00:03Join me as Pep tries Examine Therapy, which features a device aimed to treat symptoms
00:09of depression or if you feel that you want to relax your mind.
00:14Pep attended the 30th anniversary of Advanced Aesthetics in their clinic in BGC.
00:22We got a glimpse of the neat and comfy clinic.
00:25Then we met Dr. Vinia Javeliana, an aesthetic doctor for 30 years and owner of the clinic.
00:36Also present were her long-time celebrity clients, former supermodel Twitter DeLeon Gonzalez
00:43and host Christine Jacobs-Sendejas. The event also marked the clinic's partnership with BTL Aesthetics,
00:51known for beauty and wellness technologies. We got to interview Christine and Tweety about aging gracefully.
00:59We were then invited to try the Examine machine.
01:04In its website, it says the Examine treats depression and anxiety
01:09and related mental issues to enhance overall quality of life.
01:13It sounded enticing because who doesn't want a more relaxed mind?
01:16I also wanted to see for myself if the device works. So I tried the machine, but mentally,
01:23I was managing expectations. The first few minutes, I was a bit uneasy. I felt quick tapping
01:30and also sensation on my head from the machine. Then I felt my mind and body relaxed. So what is Examine?
01:38And this device is from probably way back 50 years. So it's a gold standard already. But the older devices are
01:46actually meant for depression and mental illnesses. But now they've come up with this technology that
01:54somehow creates rest, recharge. It's more or less wellness from students to executives or just
02:02a good language. A technology that's in combination or probably if you don't like drug-free,
02:09then this is a choice-free Examine. It's making use of two technologies where if they combine
02:15neuro-stimulation and bioengineering, it makes use of magnetic ultrasound. And then what it's doing is just
02:23recharge and bless the mind. A lot of patients from well-documented clinical trials and then
02:29peer-reviewed studies, that this has really helped them in a lot of ways. They're able to function well.
02:36Of course, with drugs or drug-free, they're able to achieve well. They're able to focus. So there's
02:42this mental clarity. There's a recharge or reboot. So there's less stress.
02:46Okay. After more than 20 minutes, the procedure was over. I felt relaxed mentally. But I felt the
02:54big difference the next day. I woke up clear-minded and I was calmer than usual. Dr. Haveliana said
03:01for longer and better results, one should have four to six sessions. A session cost around 25,000.
03:08That's it, pepsters. Till next time.
