Donald Trump has hailed a “historic” ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand after both nations signed an expansion of the peace deal to end their border conflict on Sunday (26 October).
The U.S. president had used the threat of higher tariffs against both countries to force them to agree to end the fighting that resulted in dozens of deaths and the displacement of hundreds of thousands.
Meanwhile, protestors gathered on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - where the 47th ASEAN summit is being held - to demonstrate against Trump's visit to the country.
