Most of the clips were reversed and adjusted for time.
Unfortunately I forgot to record the part where I spoke over the megaphone which caused the fringe to move (also what others were shouting).
They couldn't stand the part where I brought up what they fear most: Dissent and planting the seeds of doubt, including declaring batshit beliefs as not real.
Eventually they vacated the area.
Police arrested one women who was crossing the street, assuming she was one of the fringe, however mistakes happen.
The speeches were arranged to be last in the video.

01:42Immigrants are welcome here!
01:45No fear! Immigrants are welcome here!
01:47Immigrants are welcome here!
01:50Immigrants are welcome here!
01:53Yeah!
01:54No fear!
01:57Oh!
01:59No fear!

02:03...
02:13...
02:23...
02:27...
02:31Oh
03:01Oh my goodness, this is the point.
03:04You must take some more in sight.
03:06The first-man shoot is now in the origin.
03:08Well that's our first-man shoot.
03:11I'm so tired.
03:12This is for our first-man shoot.
03:13The first-man shoot that will come out.
03:15Make the customize.
03:17This is for my first-man shoot.
03:20I hope you enjoyed it.
03:22I love this.
03:23I love you too.
03:25I love you too.
03:26I love you too.
03:27I love you too.
03:31Immigrants are welcome here, no hate, no fear, no more racist, no more hate, no hate, no
04:00hate, no fear, no more racist, no more hate, no more racist, no more hate, no more racist,
04:20no more hate.
04:23Everyone is welcome here, no hate.
04:25No, hey!
04:26No!
04:27She's choking people!
04:28No!
04:29No!
04:30Give her a fucking job!
04:32Fuck you!
04:33Fuck you, you motherfucking bitch!
04:35Shame!
04:36Shame!
04:37Shame!
04:38What I understand is that when you lead with joy and with love, when you understand that
04:46we are in this together, that it is the corporate joyance we should be fighting and not one
04:52power!
04:55That's powerful, friends!
04:57So much power that the fucking fascists had to move away, didn't they?
05:02Yeah!
05:03And let's hear it!
05:07For the brave people who stood facing them on the front lines and refused to move!
05:13Because that's what it's going to take, friends!
05:19It's going to take courage!
05:21It's going to take love!
05:23It's going to take solidarity with one another!
05:26But have no fear!
05:28We will win against fascism!
05:31And if you really want to be elbows up for Canada, let's remember, we are a country built
05:43on stolen land!
05:44We are a country of immigrants!
05:46Immigrants are welcome here!
05:48We are a socialist country!
05:53Have you ever used the fucking healthcare system?
05:56That's what socialism is!
05:58And we need to be clear, that in this time, we need to advance, advance collective ownership!
06:11They want to take away jobs in Stellantis!
06:14Let's take over those plants and let's make electric cars and let's make sure our future
06:19is green for our children!
06:25We have the solutions!
06:27We know that trans people are welcome here!
06:34We know that black and racialized people make our communities stronger!
06:41We know that trade unions build worker power that helps everyone!
06:51And so when we look them in the eye, and that disappointing moment comes when you realize there's another human
06:58that's been sucked into poison, the only thing we can do is turn to one another and remember,
07:04the power of our love is stronger than the power of their hate!
07:09I'm here because our members have democratically voted, 300,000 CUPE members in every corner
07:21of the province, democratically voted to say we will stand against hate and fascism wherever
07:28it raises its head in this province!
07:34And we will not be afraid because we have each other and we know this friends, when we stand
07:44together and when we fight together, we win together!
07:49When we fight, when we fight!
07:54I want to let you know, as I stand here, I'm proud to say that my voice is stronger because
08:03we have 220,000 working people across the region that also send that message that we are standing
08:16in solidarity with our refugees!
08:18We are standing in solidarity with immigrants' rights!
08:22It's very disappointing!
08:23I want to let you know, as I stand here, I'm not just a Labour Council President, I am an immigrant!
08:37I'm a black woman who was born in Jamaica!
08:41And when I got out of the plane here, I thought I'll be walking in milk and honey!
08:48And then I realized that the reality of it, yes, there is hate!
08:53There is division!
08:54And a lot of this didn't just happen overnight!
08:58It's from a lot of parents and a lot of adults out there who continue to instill that some
09:05of us don't matter!
09:08I'm not invading this country!
09:11I can let you know, and I can let the haters know, that my sweat, my blood, is part of what
09:20built this country and I belong!
09:27My children have a right to enjoy this country, and you know why?
09:32Because I'm part of who's building a future for this country!
09:37Shame on politicians who have nothing to do but to continue to build their speech and
09:47blaming immigrants for an increase that they're facing!
09:51Shame!
09:54Just recently we heard one of those speech!
09:5730% of the increase in this city is because of the spending on immigrants!
10:05Hello?
10:07They work, they pay tax, they're robbed by employers just the same!
10:13Shame!
10:14They hurt like anybody else!
10:16That's right!
10:17But they love this country equally!
10:19Yes!
10:20So why is their fault?
10:22When we have lazy politicians who just want to spend time blaming immigrants, we're going
10:27to tell them, hell no!
10:28Go and do your job!
10:33For the haters who wake up every day and think that we don't have rights!
10:37I want to let you know that our indigenous sisters and brothers, this is their land!
10:42And they welcome us!
10:43And that's all that matters!
10:45That's all that matters!
10:47We're not here taking any excuse from you when you don't even know your own history!
10:54Hate doesn't take us anywhere!
10:57Now we're looking at the, I don't even think it's an orange here anymore!
11:03We know Trump is across the border having a fun day!
11:06He's having a fun day!
11:08Because the bullshit that he spread across the US, we're over here helping to paste it
11:13on right here!
11:14And that's not okay!
11:16Shame!
11:17Shame!
11:18If we want to live up to this country and if we want to say that Canada is different,
11:22we're loving, we're piling up money saying we're giving hate somewhere else but we refuse
11:27to lift our own, our own workers and our own residents up!
11:32Just to show that we're doing something!
11:34Then you know what?
11:36The message is also to our Prime Minister!
11:39People did not vote for you to help to spill hate from across the border!
11:45You came on board to make sure that you stand up for the Canada that we deserve!
11:51One that welcome immigrants!
11:53One that love us no matter what color or shape we are!
11:58One that are able to say that we are thankful that we are building this country!
12:03Not someone that's over here, a Prime Minister that's over here tooting a Trump's agenda!
12:10We're not gonna have it!
12:12We're gonna call him on it every time!
12:15Shame!
12:16By standing aside and letting Trump roll over on us with tariffs, it means that you're
12:22also agreeing with everything including the rise of hate that's coming across the border
12:27that's what you're buying here!
12:29And we are sending that message to Carney!
12:31You better step up and do the work!
12:33Because the Canada that I love, I am a Canadian!
12:36And the one that I love and the one that I join with every single one of you to be able
12:41to wake up every day and say I love Canada!
12:44We're not gonna allow someone like our Prime Minister who come along as a business person
12:49to help to tear that down!
12:51And I just wanna say to you that we are here today and every day it does count to send
12:56that message to every single hater that has nothing to do but feed off of us!
13:02Every single hater that also feed off of our sweat and blood because obviously they don't work!
13:08Because if they have to get up here every day to do that then they're not a part of building a future for this country!
13:13They're also feeding off of us!
13:17They're also feeding off of immigrants!
13:20We are people!
13:21We love this place because we are building it!
13:25We are not the ones that are selling off the asset into this country!
13:30We're not the ones that are sitting with corporations asking them to rob workers every day!
13:36It's not our fault that you can't do your job!
13:39Look at postal workers today!
13:41Look at postal workers!
13:44These are women!
13:45They're seniors!
13:46It's service that we deserve!
13:48Our government is sitting highly by while it's all about hate, it's all about racism and it's also about cheating workers!
13:57There's a lot of work here for us to do sisters and brothers and friends!
14:01It's not about hating each other!
14:03We need every single one of us to stand up!
14:06Especially to the U.S. this time!
14:08Solidarity sisters and brothers!
14:10Let's continue to put our own face up!
14:14Our face up!
14:19What immigrants are you talking about?
14:21And one more round of some chants here!
14:25So, so, so!
14:26We'd like to invite the executive vice president of the OFL, Jackie Taylor!
14:32Hello everyone!
14:33I'm Jackie Taylor!
14:34I'm the executive vice president of the Ontario Federation of Labour!
14:38And I'm here on behalf of my president, Laura Walton Spence!
14:43The Ontario Federation of Labour, we represent over 54 affiliates and 1 billion workers!
14:51You can clap!
14:52You can clap!
14:53You can clap!
14:54And I'm here to say that those workers, whether they're union or non-union, are immigrants as well!
15:03My family came here as immigrants!
15:06And I'm gonna give, I'm putting up a special plug in this!
15:09I'm from the U.S. and we run like bunnies over the border to come to Canada!
15:15Like bunnies!
15:16You're welcome!
15:17Because we knew that what was going on in the states was not right!
15:22The blatant racism!
15:24Building a U.S. country on the backs of immigrants and not giving them credit is a shame!
15:34And we're not gonna have it here!
15:37That's right!
15:38We're never ever gonna be the 51st state!
15:41I want you to say this!
15:43We're never ever gonna be the 51st state!
15:48And you can put that in your pocket and you can smoke it!
15:53Because we are never going to confirm, to confine to the rules that are happening and the things that are happening in the U.S.
16:04We are a country of respect, of inclusion, and we bring, we welcome every single one and we respect the rights of every single one!
16:17So this hate that they feel that they want to spew into a country that our ancestors, that we are here, it's not going to happen!
16:31I want you to say it with me!
16:33It ain't gonna happen!
16:35It's not gonna happen!
16:37It's not!
16:38But I wanted to say a couple of words and just want you to understand that your fight is our fight!
16:45Your fight is our fight!
16:49Thank you very much, Jackie!
16:51No hate!
16:52No fear!
16:53Everybody, I'd like to invite now Carolyn Egan, the president of the United Steelworkers Toronto Area Council.
17:00Thank you very much, Brian!
17:02And before I say anything else, I want to thank the extraordinary queer and trans young people who took their banners and stood right in front of those who were trans.
17:14And those who were trying to take our space.
17:16And I think we have forged an excellent relationship, a united front here with the labor movement, community organizations like TEAM, the Urban Alliance on Race Relations.
17:29And now, if it's the Trans Commission or 519, I'm not exactly sure, but we are thrilled to be working together with you.
17:36Because we are going to do everything we can to stop the anti-immigrant racism, as the previous speakers have spoken about.
17:44But we are also here to say no to transphobia, no to the oppression and the stalking and the legislating against trans rights in this country.
17:56We see what's going on in the United States.
17:59It's slowly creeping across this border.
18:02And we are saying no, no, and no.
18:04And we are going to keep up the fight.
18:06Hopefully you will stand with us.
18:08We will stand with you.
18:09And together we cannot lose if we build that kind of unity.
18:13And I think we can do it brothers, sisters, comrades.
18:18I also want to say, if you look around the world, what we saw happening today is happening in almost every country.
18:27You look at England, what, a few weeks ago, Tommy Robinson, a neo-Nazi, a fascist, clearly, clearly proclaiming such.
18:36He marched ahead of 100,000 people who supported his views, maybe not entirely, but enough.
18:43And they called for mass deportations from the UK.
18:48It was chilling.
18:49It was absolutely chilling.
18:5120,000 who stand up for racism came out to oppose, thinking they would have enough, perhaps, to oppose those racists in the streets.
19:01But they were outnumbered five to one, brothers, sisters, comrades.
19:06That is extraordinary.
19:08They had been organizing for a number of years, and it gave a chill to each and every one of them.
19:12It gave a chill to the trans community.
19:14It gave a chill to the trade union community.
19:16And they are doing everything they can to broaden the support and bring people into the streets.
19:21Because whenever people who espouse those kind of ideologies come to occupy our public space in a city like Toronto or any city across this country, village or town,
19:31we have to be there saying no, because you do not represent the majority.
19:36Not by a long shot.
19:37But we know, as I said earlier, it's creeping.
19:40We see the rise of neo-Nazi propaganda in France, in Germany.
19:43We've seen the government in Hungary.
19:45We've seen a neo-fascist government in Italy.
19:48None of this is exceptional in the sense of this is happening here, it's not happening anywhere else.
19:54It is happening so, so many places.
19:56And the only way we can stop it is by making it clear to everyone in our union halls, on our campuses, around kitchen tables, that we will stop it.
20:09We will stop it.
20:10And please, just please, please, please, make sure that you leave here together.
20:15Because we see, alright, they're marching, we are not, we are, they are trying to provoke us.
20:22They are trying to provoke us.
20:23And I will tell you, we have been in situations where we've left two by two by three by three, and we've been attacked.
20:30We don't want that to happen.
20:32We want to be very, very clear that we stand together, we don't let anyone be singled out, no matter who they may be.
20:39We are going to stand together and not allow them to attack any of us.
20:45And it is exactly what they are trying to do.
20:48They are trying to attack us.
20:50And we will not allow us.
20:52Stand strong, stand together.
20:54We had a victory today.
20:56We had a victory today.
20:58We stood up and we stopped them.
21:00Stand strong and stand together.
21:02Stand strong and stand together.
21:05Unity is our strength, brothers and sisters.
21:08I see them.
21:09I see them.
21:10I see them.
21:11And stand strong and stand together.
21:13We have to allow our voices to be heard.
21:16That we say no to hate.
21:18No hate.
21:19Racists, no more hate.
21:21No more racists.
21:22Toronto and New York Region Labour Council, Urban Alliance on Race Relations, Team from the East End, from the Steel Worker Toronto Area Council, the Trans Rights Commission and other organizations.
21:33We, I think, have made our message clear.
21:36Hate is not welcome here.
21:37It is not welcome in Toronto.
21:39We will stand up for trans people.
21:41We will stand up for queer people.
21:42We will stand up for immigrants.
21:44Everyone who has exploited and attacked.
21:46Particularly the working members of our unions.
21:49Those of us who are in unions who make up the diversity of this city in every way.
21:53So we want to thank you.
21:55The other side has dispersed.
21:57But we want to urge you to be very careful in leaving.
22:01We have had problems in these situations before.
22:04So if you choose to leave, we want you to leave together.
22:08Don't leave alone.
22:09The museum subway is right down there.
22:12You can see the TTC sign.
22:14Walk more to the East than to the West.
22:17Because that's where you'll find them.
22:19And we don't want anyone to be caught up in some kind of a situation in which they are outnumbered.
22:25We are outnumbered.
22:26And there's heightened feelings, I know, certainly on their side just by looking at the shouting and all of that.
22:32So we want to thank you so, so much for coming out.
22:35This is what democracy looks like.
22:37This is exactly why we are building the unification, really, of movements.
22:42The trans movement, the labor movement, the community movement, the anti-racist movement.
22:46And that is what we want to thank you for taking part in today.
22:51There's something else going on that I'm not aware of.
22:54So, we are...
22:56I can't quite see. I'm not tall.
22:59Alright.
23:00So, all our people, come back over here.
23:03All our people, come to this side.
23:05So you're not going to be somehow wrapped up in some kind of arrest that may be going on.
23:09Yeah.
23:10So, something may be going on.
23:12We do not want any of our people to be arrested.
23:15I can see who they're dealing with.
23:17Just stay back.
23:18Stay back.
23:19We don't want any casualties on our side here.
23:22Just stay with us and stay together until this, whatever is happening, ends.
23:28And we will all leave together.
23:30We don't want to leave anyone behind.
23:32We want to leave together.
23:34And we're going to be playing some music here.
23:37And just stay tight.
23:39But once this is ending, we want you, as I say, to all go together.
23:45Alright?
23:46I don't think it's any one of our grouping that has been picked up there from what I'm gathering.
23:50So we will just stay, uh, stay, stay strong.
23:53I don't ask!
23:55Oh, well don't yell at me.
23:56I'm just asking.
23:57Just let me go.
23:58Fuck the police!
23:59Fuck the police!
24:00Fuck the police!
24:01Fuck the police!
24:02Fuck the police!
