00:30Emotional, pleased, grateful

00:41The memories that we've had over here

00:45From cleaning, clearing the ground and everything

00:48Talking, the times we've had meetings

00:51Around my kitchen table across the road

00:54If I charged I'd be rich

00:56But now to see it open I can relax

01:00And as I said look out my bedroom window

01:03And watch everybody coming in and using it

01:05So that's excellent

01:06After everybody moved off

01:10And there was just me left with Kevin

01:12I just thought I'd give it up

01:15You know I was 70 and I thought no I won't

01:18And then tenacity, dog with a bone

01:21All the names I've been called

01:22I just thought no

01:24And then when Kev died

01:25He wouldn't have wanted me to have given up

01:28So we just carried on

01:32And we had three people interested

01:35But luckily enough George was the one that took it forward

01:39And I'll be forever grateful to him

01:42That I can say we did it

01:44I want to echo everything that we do at Latimer Park

01:47And all the good stuff that's happened at Rockland Road

01:50Back into the community

01:52And this is a fantastic way of doing that

01:56Because we are a family club

01:59We are a community club

02:00And we most certainly want to enhance the football club

02:04By having something like this that can generate money for the football club

02:08And that is the sole purpose of this

02:11So when I met Leslie and I heard her drive

02:15Her love for community

02:18It really kind of resonated with me

02:21And I was so passionate to work with Leslie

02:24To get this over line

02:25I'm so proud for Leslie and Ash

02:29Who I know for the last 15 years

02:31Have been banging their heads against

02:33You know

02:34Other institutions who can come in and help

02:36So it really really makes me proud

02:38To say Ketcher Football Club

02:40Have stepped in now

02:41Not only to make this something that the community is proud of

02:46But Leslie knows right from the word go

02:49I've said this could be an income stream for the football club

02:52And my duty as a chairman of the football club

02:54Is to make sure that the football club is sustainable
