00:00Has this opened up new avenues of your friendship now that you're you're kind of working together and very closely, I guess, maybe more closely than the past or bond friendship?
00:10We're definitely navigating that relationship right now.
00:14There's things that, you know, we have to get used to, especially when we're working together with like our entrance and who gets the spotlight and who, you know, stands where and does what.
00:27And, you know, Charlotte likes to have the spotlight on her at all times, which I get.
00:32So do I. So that's been a fun dynamic to figure out.
00:37I made her use pom poms last week to cheer me on in my match because I used the pom poms to cheer her on.
00:44So it's definitely, I think, bringing us out of our boxes a little bit of what we're used to doing.
00:49And it's been a fun adjustment, I would say.
00:52She was pretty open about what the pop for her at Evolution meant.
00:57Do you think she gets kind of a bad rub from the maybe a bad shake from the audience that only see just how much Charlotte Flair wins and gets titles and doesn't always think about Ashley and how the person she is and how it affects things affect her?
01:15Well, there's a reason why they say, you know, it's lonely at the top, you know, she's really successful.
01:22And, you know, sometimes that's what happens when you're super successful.
01:26People try to bring you down, whether that's booing you on stage or anything like that.
01:32And I think she's handled it a lot and all with, like, really good grace and understanding because, you know, she's super talented at what she does.
01:42And she's one of the strongest people in the ring that I've ever been up against or have teamed with.
01:49And I think it's hard when you love something so much and you want to be really good at it.
01:56And when you are good at it, you know, sometimes it, you know, makes people feel a way.
02:01And I don't think that should take away from her and her ability and her, you know, she deserves those cheers.
02:07She deserves to be celebrated because she is one of our most decorated women we have on the roster.
02:13You've obviously kept, you know, Lily, some of the, you know, obviously clothing similar to when you were with Bray.
02:21Is that something you want to keep for a while just as, you know, kind of a homage where you can kind of work the character around that,
02:28even if, you know, there's still kind of some remnants of this past version of Alexa we're seeing?
02:33Yeah, I always try to keep, you know, obviously I like to evolve and change my characters a lot and change the look and the mentality and the attitude.
02:41But, you know, something I definitely want to try to keep a part of Wyndham with me any way that I can because, you know,
02:48he was such an impactful person on our whole industry and, you know, me working with him was the most fun I've ever had in my career.
02:58And if there's a way that I can always, you know, pay tribute to him and thank him for everything he's done for me in this business,
03:06I'm going to do it because he was such an impact on all of us.
03:11And I think the best way to keep someone's memory alive is to, you know, just keep them around.
03:18And that's what I'm doing.
03:20I'm keeping parts of him around.
03:21And I think it also brings me comfort.
03:24And it's been nice.
03:26Do you feel like at some point there has to be some sort of interaction with the Wyatt Six?
03:32I know people probably thought that was something you were going to jump into right out of the gate.
03:36But is that something you would look forward to at some point when the timing's right down the line?
03:41I fully believe, I've said this before, and I think, you know, Wyndham said it best when he said,
03:49him and I will always be connected in some way.
03:52And if we were to ever reconnect, it would be in a big way.
03:55And if that's through the Wyatt Six, that's cool.
03:57That's awesome.
03:58Um, right now I'm, my focus is Charlotte.
04:03And, you know, if that ever brought me to the Wyatt Six or maybe Charlotte to the Wyatt Six, I don't know.
04:10We don't know.
04:10You know, we're seeing a new side of Charlotte.
04:12Who knows where it goes?
04:13Um, no, I think that would be a lot of fun.
04:15And, you know, I'm open to every avenue when it comes to creative because I just love testing myself,
04:23especially creatively and different avenues, different journeys.
04:26And if it brings the Wyatt Six together with Alexa Bliss, that would be, that'd be fun.
04:30And I think that would be something that would be really cool to see.
04:33The time I, I took the time as, you know, who is Alexa Bliss now?
04:38You know, who is the character now?
04:39What is she going to do now that's different than what she's done the past 10 to 12 years?
04:45And how does that fit into the current roster, into the current storyline, into the current division?
04:51Because everything changed so much.
04:52I was gone for two years.
04:54So it's just finding that puzzle piece and where everything fits and everything aligns.
04:58And, you know, I think it's done, the creative team has done an amazing job fitting me back in where it's been fun.
05:06And it's, you know, ignited a lot more creative aspect.
05:12And yeah, I'm enjoying it.
05:13How has motherhood kind of changed your appreciation of all this?
05:17It seems like your little one is, is with you a lot on the road.
05:21I don't know if she's with you all, is she with you all the time or?
05:23She's with me majority of the time, yeah, on the road.
05:26So my husband still tours and so she goes with me.
05:29How has that changed just your appreciation of all this where it seems like she's enjoying and getting to experience, obviously, all this for the first time with you?
05:38Yeah, it's awesome.
05:39I love having Hendrix with me on the road.
05:43Obviously, when my husband tours every weekend.
05:46And so when he's able to come, it's fun because it's like a whole family affair.
05:51And I love being able to look ringside and see her there and her little headphones.
05:56And she's really starting to enjoy watching the shows, which is really cool.
06:02And for me, it's more like, hey, like I need you to think I'm cool one day.
06:06So I need you to be here and be a part of it.
06:09Obviously, we lost Hulk Hogan this week.
06:12Like, you got to be on stage with him at WrestleMania 35 while you were hosting.
06:18What do you remember about kind of that moment and just kind of interacting with him that day kind of before and during that?
06:25I was super excited because I had never worked with him before, obviously.
06:30And I thought it was just such a cool moment to be able to go out and hit the iconic flexing poses.
06:36You know, it's one thing to go out there and flex like Hulk Hogan, but to flex with Hulk Hogan is pretty cool.
06:43And it was a really cool moment.
06:44And it was actually a moment that my husband had recorded on his phone.
06:51And he didn't realize that I was the one posing with Hogan.
06:54This was before we met.
06:55He's like, oh, I have this cool video of Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania.
06:59And I go, yeah, that's me.
07:00And he was like, that's not you.
07:01And I go, yeah, that's me.
07:02He goes, that's Hulk Hogan.
07:03I said, yeah, you see that blonde right there next to him?
07:05That's me.
07:06Um, but it was, it was a cool moment, a moment that I'll obviously never forget.
07:10Super iconic moment.
07:12And yeah, it was, I had an amazing time that day.
07:16And, you know, obviously we're really sorry and condolences to the family and everyone.
07:20And it's just, he just made such an impact on our, on our industry.
07:23And, um, but to be able to have a moment that I got to share a stage with him is, was really cool.
07:30What would it mean for you and Charlotte to obviously bring home these, you know, women's tag team titles?
07:35And do you think that would be the thing that might, you know, kick you over the line to, to friendship?
07:39You know, we, I personally haven't held any title in a long time.
07:45So I think it would be awesome.
07:46Um, the last tag title I held, um, was years ago.
07:52Um, and you know, I've had amazing tag team partners and if it's something that Charlotte and I are able to accomplish, that would be awesome.
07:58Um, I don't know if it'll make us friends because at the end of the day, we're still allies of convenience.
08:06Alexa, I appreciate a couple of minutes.
08:07I know we're all enjoying seeing you guys, uh, you and Charlotte get to show kind of this different side of yourselves.
08:14It's always kind of fun to watch, um, people who you didn't, you don't think maybe should interact, get together and you go, yeah, that works.
