Ukrainian refugee artist shows 'the beauty of the world' at Lisbon's Estrela Basilica
'The Beauty is a Choice' is the title of an exhibition by a Ukrainian refugee artist that is transforming a wing of Lisbon's Estrela Basilica, which has been closed for around 40 years.

00:30I was in Ukraine when the war started in my country, and after 9 or 10 days since the beginning of the war, I decided to leave my country with my family.

01:32This garden was inspired by basilica garden as well. You can see here the falcon as a symbol of defender of full harmony and peace and beauty in this garden.
01:48These blackbirds, you can often meet in my art. In Portuguese, this is melrus, if I say correct.
