00:00The question was for Julia and Andrew. Now that the MeToo hero and the Black Lives Matter
00:07are done, what do we have to expect in Hollywood? And what we lost if we lost something with
00:12the politically correct hero? Ayo Adebri's reaction to being excluded from an awkward
00:18interview question directed toward Andrew Garfield and Julia Roberts has gone viral.
00:22The trio sat down for an interview with the Italian outlet ArtsLife TV to talk about their
00:28film after The Hunt, when film journalist Federica Polidoro asked a question about the
00:33hashtag MeToo and Black Lives Matter movements, but only asked Garfield and Roberts to respond.
00:39She specifically asked the two what to expect in Hollywood after the MeToo movement and the Black
00:45Lives Matter are done. I know that that's not for me and I don't know if it's purposeful if it's not
00:49me, but I just am curious. I don't think it's done. It's not done. I don't think it's done at all. I
00:54think maybe hashtags might not be used as much, but I do think that there's work being done by
01:02activists, by people every day. That's beautiful, important work that's not finished. That's really,
01:07really, really active for a reason, because this world is really charged. And that work isn't finished
01:14at all. Garfield and Roberts showed their agreement as the Bear Star continued to answer the question.
01:19After Polidoro faced intense backlash online for excluding a debris, the journalist shared
01:25a lengthy statement on Instagram. She argued that she was not racist, stating that her own family is
01:30multi-ethnic, matriarchal, and feminist, with a significant history of immigration. The Italian
01:36journalist added that she reserves the right to seek legal protection against those attacking and
01:41insulting her online.
