00:20For people like myself who don't do Pilates very often,
00:22tell me about what does it look like traditionally?
00:24Traditionally, when you come to group classes,
00:27you usually find this machine only, the Reformer,
00:30which I find very limiting.
00:33NoFar is considered a maverick in the Pilates space,
00:35most notably for her innovation in combining elements
00:38from the Reformer and Cadillac machines.
00:41How did you start innovating and building these machines?
00:43The machine already exists.
00:45I just mix and match them and brought some props from outside,
00:49like the Bossa ball or the water disc.
00:52It's because I saw how it can make the workout more elevated.
00:56It's so boring to teach you the same class
00:58because that's what classical Pilates is about
01:00and nobody really gets it.
01:01Like you're doing ten repetitions usually of the same movement
01:05in the same class.
01:06And I knew always that your body will never change
01:09if it's not stimulate.
01:10And the way your body stimulates if you change the workout
01:13and do different things.
01:14So the first thing about the method,
01:16every time you see me or any of my teacher,
01:19you will do something completely different.
01:21And to make the workout more fun, like an amusement park,
01:25I like to bring the box from the Reformer
01:28and the wood bar from the Cadillac and mix them together.
01:32And I think people really love it.
01:34You talk about how accessible NOFAR method is.

01:37Christina just had a baby three months ago and she's doing it.
