00:00Hello friends, yeah, welcome to Friday Night Live with Honkily, episode 231.5.
00:13Yeah, we're going to the next two hours or whatever, how long it lasts, okay, so yeah,
00:20sure. Yeah, because Saturday, kind of like Halloween special, I guess, okay, yeah, so
00:27let it, five minutes break, we'll get the vocalized together, okay, we'll continue the narrative,
00:33okay, sure, yeah, yeah, five minutes break, thank you, yeah, yeah.
00:57Yeah.
00:58Yeah.
01:00Yeah.
01:01Yeah.
01:02Yeah.
05:09Yeah.
05:10Cheers.
05:12Welcome.
05:16Yeah.
05:17So...
05:18Like...
05:19I've seen some people, some people with metal detectors to find some coins, some precious metal.
05:35Yeah, I've seen them, it's very nice.
05:39Yeah, thank you, thank you. I'm running for U.S. President, okay? Yeah. Thank you for your support, thank you.
05:49Yeah, I'm running for U.S. President, okay? Yeah.
05:54But for now, you are talking about metal detectors. Sure, yeah, in Mojave Desert.
06:04Okay, yeah, with metal detectors to find some ancient coins, gold, silver, whatever, okay?
06:13Metal detectors, okay? Yeah, I've seen them, okay? In Mojave Desert.
06:17Some hikers, okay? Yeah.
06:19But I had to be alone because that movie, Therapy for Metaphobia, I knew too, okay?
06:26Movie I made alone, okay? I had to be alone, okay?
06:30From the parking lot of Mojave Desert, okay? Yeah.
06:37So, I hiked from parking lot maybe 20 minutes, 30 minutes, okay? To be alone, okay? Yeah.
06:47And so that there's nobody around, okay? Yeah, yeah.
06:52Look, you're kind of distracting me, okay? Please, be quiet. Okay?
07:19If I'm boring you, if I'm being bored, if I'm being boring you, if I'm being boring, yeah, you can go somewhere else, okay?
07:28But please do not distract me from storytelling. To me, it's very important moment. Reminiscence, okay?
07:37So, I'll leave it up to you, okay? But, yeah, please, okay?
07:42Yeah.
07:44Okay, thank you.
07:48So, after Mojave Desert, it's like, uh...
07:54Oh, thank you.
07:58And, yeah, parking lot, it was not a big parking lot. It's a California State Park, Red Rock Canyon State Park, okay?
08:08That I acknowledged at the end of that movie, okay? Yeah.
08:12Because I got help from California, uh, the park rangers, state level, okay?
08:18It's not a federal park, it's a state park, okay? So...
08:22Yeah, and they helped me out, okay? So...
08:25Oh, yeah.
08:28Yeah, welcome. So...
08:32Uh...
08:33It was hot. It was dry desert. Mojave Desert, okay, so...
08:38Yeah.
08:39And, uh...
08:41It was dry desert, Mojave Desert, okay, so...
08:44Yeah.
08:45And, uh...
08:46It was dry desert, Mojave Desert, okay, so...
08:48Yeah.
08:50And, uh...
08:55So, yeah, this Panasonic DVX, semi-professional camera, okay?
09:04It comes with remote control, okay, so...
09:06I was alone, okay, so, yeah, uh...
09:09Zooming in and zooming out with remote control.
09:12Kind of hidden.
09:14Okay.
09:15Tripod, okay, yeah.
09:18So, I...
09:39So as some people say, loneliness is very difficult to handle. Not me though, at all.
09:48I wanted to be alone, okay? That's why I hiked 30 minutes from the parking lot, okay?
09:53It was not a big parking lot, okay?
09:57Yeah, there's a hiking trail there, okay, but
10:03I had to be alone to make this movie, make a mark.
10:10All right, so
10:12I wanted to be alone. I had to be alone to make this movie all by myself, okay?
10:19Yeah, so I did not suffer from loneliness. No, I wanted loneliness. I wanted solitude, being alone, okay?
10:27That's what I craved for. There's another theme in that movie.
10:32Like, escaping the big city of Los Angeles. Going to the desert alone. Yeah, to be alone.
10:41Yeah, therapy for metophobia. Fear of the city.
10:47Okay, yeah, that's what I meant in that term, okay? So
10:52Yeah, I like desire to be alone, okay? So
10:58And I got it. Oh, great. Okay, so I did not suffer from loneliness. No, I enjoy that stuff, okay?
11:06Okay, even today in Alaska, okay? Yeah.
11:13Okay, yeah, now, five minutes break, vocal rest, okay? So
11:17Yeah, mighty proud future leaders, yeah, martial arts education, quality development, okay?
11:21Yeah, five minutes break, okay? Thank you. I just vocal rest, okay?
11:25Yeah, five minutes, thank you. Yep, yep.
11:29Welcome. Yeah.
11:30My part is a leader.
11:31Okay, thank you.
11:59Bye-bye.
14:01It's not a typical Hollywood movie, okay, so maybe not even a typical independent movie, okay, it's just there are multiple aspects in there.
14:12In my opinion, okay.
14:18I love people, okay, but I like being alone.
14:24I do not hate people, okay, but I enjoy people, companies.
14:33Yes, I do.
14:34Earlier today or yesterday, I interact with auto repair shop professionals, okay?
14:46Okay, I enjoy the interaction.
14:48Great professional, auto repair shop, okay?
14:52In Alaska, we changed from summertime to wintertime, okay?
14:58So, and the car window, my car window, yeah, motorized window not working, okay, so, okay, great interaction.
15:09I really, really enjoy interaction with auto repair professionals, okay?
15:14Oh, they're great, okay, yeah, so I enjoy interacting with good people, okay?
15:23Yeah, I do.
15:24But at the same time, but at the same time, but at the same time, but at the same time, I also enjoy being alone, right?
15:28Balancing, being alone or being with people, half and half, right?
15:33Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so, yeah, so, yeah, uh, being alone out there in the desert, it was nice.
15:59It's kind of interesting filming, okay?
16:01I do filmmaking, where I'm alone with my camera, tripod, remote control, alone in the Mojave Desert, and, yeah, I'm talking to the cameras, microphone, and, uh, monologue, but, I did that for a while, but the thing is this, okay?
16:23Yeah, I wrote the screenplay, okay?
16:25Yeah, I wrote the film, okay, film maker, writer, actor, okay, so.
16:30Jack of all trade, okay, so, and, uh, well, I have to be a male, maybe Jane of all trade, for females, okay?
16:37I'm not a genderist.
16:39We love inhumanity, we love everybody, all genders,
16:43all races, all ages, we love everybody.
16:46All religions, ideologies, political parties, we love everybody.
16:50We're very inclusive here.
16:53So, me being alone with camera, tripod, remote control,
17:03talking to a camera, just alone, monologue, sadly lucky, right?
17:09It's fine, but it kind of become boring.
17:16After a while.
17:23So, I was compelled to introduce some characters other than me,
17:30well, in that movie, Lee.
17:33Okay, that's my family name, okay, last name.
17:39So, okay, but I do not want to involve anybody else.
17:43I want to make this movie alone.
17:45So, then how can I introduce another character?
17:48Yeah, let's, like, kind of like a cartoon animation or fairytale,
17:55kind of like a anthropomorphic, human form, anthropomorphized character,
18:05like a rock, a stone, or, yeah, jasha tree, cactus.
18:12So, that screenplay evolved.
18:24Yeah, I did some, like, location scouting, of course, okay, but...
18:31I kind of improvised the creation of those characters, a rock.
18:39Honkily talking to this rock.
18:42Honkily talking to this cactus, jasha tree, okay?
18:46Yeah, uh...
18:49That idea came after I arrived there, in Mojave Desert,
18:53because before I arrived there,
18:55I don't know anything about some rock, volcanic rock,
19:02in Mojave Desert, with a lot of holes.
19:06Okay, volcanic rock, so, when, back in the days, volcanoes, hot, lava,
19:13so, some, uh, liquid molecules,
19:19well, some even solid molecules become liquid,
19:22and after that become gas, air, okay, bubble up.
19:26That's why this volcanic rock have a lot of holes in there, okay?
19:31I never seen those rocks in Mojave Desert, okay?
19:35So, later on, it's a brand new,
19:38newly introduced cactus, volcanic rock.
19:43Okay?
19:45And jasha tree, the cactus, very spiny, sharp.
19:52I didn't know about that plant,
19:54before I went there, Mojave Desert.
20:01So, they kind of improvised characters,
20:04brand new, creation of these brand new characters,
20:07in this screenplay.
20:08So, I didn't know about them,
20:10until I actually went there,
20:14in Mojave Desert.
20:18Okay.
20:23How interesting.
20:24How interesting, right?
20:25Yeah, yeah.
20:28I believe in God.
20:29I'm a humanologist, okay?
20:31Yeah.
20:32But, kind of like,
20:33humanology heavily influenced by Christianity,
20:36because I grew up as a Christian,
20:38back in the days, okay?
20:39So, yeah.
20:40God works in mysterious ways.
20:42That's how Christians say, okay?
20:44Yeah.
20:45Yeah.
20:46Maybe.
20:47Okay.
20:48Yeah.
20:49So, I appreciate Christianity.
20:50Okay.
20:51This is my religious background,
20:52back in the days, okay?
20:53So, now I'm a humanologist, okay?
20:55So, I'm a normal Christian, okay?
20:57But, I still appreciate, respect Christianity, okay?
20:59We love all religions out there, okay?
21:01Yeah.
21:02So, I still believe that,
21:05maybe God was helping me.
21:12About ten years ago,
21:13in the middle of nowhere,
21:14Mojave Desert,
21:19to meet this rock,
21:20a storm,
21:22and this nice,
21:24symmetric-looking plant,
21:27jasha tree,
21:28okay, the cactus.
21:30Oh, yeah.
21:32Yeah.
21:33I do not know about them at all.
21:38No.
21:43So, let's imagine this rock.
21:48Stone.
21:51Can you listen to me and talk to me?
21:53Communication.
21:54Character.
21:55Okay.
21:56Okay.
21:57Now, I'm no longer alone.
22:02Now, I'm having conversation with this rock.
22:05A stone.
22:10Later on in the movie,
22:11yeah, a cactus, jasha tree, okay?
22:13So, I'm not alone again.
22:14Okay.
22:15Now, I'm talking to this wonderful plant.
22:16Beautiful plant, okay?
22:17Okay.
22:18Yeah.
22:19Brand new cactus.
22:20Kind of imaginary cactus.
22:21No, I was not hallucinating.
22:22I'm not crazy.
22:23I did not use any drugs.
22:24I did not even drink alcohol.
22:25When I was filming, making that movie, okay?
22:29Yeah, I did smoke cigarettes, but that was that, okay?
22:31Yeah.
22:32Even when I was editing this movie, I was not even drinking.
22:34You might.
22:35You might.
22:36You might.
22:37You might.
22:38You might.
22:39You might.
22:40You might.
22:41Yeah.
22:42You might.
22:43You might.
22:44You might.
22:45You might.
22:46You might.
22:47Yeah.
22:48You might.
22:49So, when I was editing this movie, I was not even drinking.
22:53You might.
22:54I was.
22:55You might yeah.
22:56Forfulfesters.
22:572011.
22:58When I was.
22:59Finalizing!
23:00Editing of this movie.
23:01No.
23:02I did not drink alcohol.
23:03When I was editing, okay?
23:05Maybe after.
23:06I was done editing,
23:08maybe.
23:08Yeah.
23:09I did drink alcohol.
23:09When I was in bedroom.
23:11UH Pulpette Form.
23:12чутьer.
23:13You were all alone too.
23:14okay but not when i was editing okay i did not drink apple
23:19i made some cigarette break once in a while
23:23that was that yeah no illegal drugs no
23:31okay now let's define this break okay now time check okay
23:39yeah welcome to humanity okay so yeah
23:44uh
23:53it's been like 30 minutes so far okay so good
23:59yeah so five minutes okay yeah thank you yeah
24:04yeah okay
24:14yeah
24:18okay
24:21yeah
24:23yeah
24:25yeah
24:26yeah
24:27yeah
24:28yeah
28:28Yeah, actually, I did call them, surprisingly, they're kind of partially based in Wisconsin,
28:38where I went to university, computer science major, okay, so, yeah, it's a computer program
28:46back then, okay, I was comfortable, okay, so, yeah, yeah, so, software, yeah, film making
28:51software, film editing software, Sony Vegas, okay, so, yeah, actually, they're best in
28:57Wisconsin, in Wisconsin, okay, so, yeah, so, yeah, it was a computer science technology, okay,
29:19okay, so, yeah, it was nice.
29:24so it was some nice chat as programmer to programmer okay ah it was beautiful it was nice
29:36so they have to go out okay editing okay like voice dubbing like like just rock stone
29:44character i need to manipulate sounds so that uh yeah i i did say the lines of this rock and joshua
29:56trio to guess but i need to manipulate the voice so that they would not sound like i do
30:05because they're supposedly different character they're not honkily it's a rock another character
30:11a plant cactus okay so they should not sound like me so i had to manipulate the frequency
30:23to make this fictional character of rock or stone okay or plant cactus
30:31so that their voice would not sound like me although i did read their lines and i wrote their lines
30:39i did everything about all by myself okay interesting story right yeah interesting filmmaking okay like
30:46unique this was the goal to make something brand new one of a kind
30:54class of its own yeah just just being unique first in the human history okay
31:02yeah so there's a lot going on in that movie okay yeah yeah i'm telling you now i'm glad we have this opportunity
31:15to talk about that movie making okay yeah
31:19but post production our friends like you uh watching this movie in youtube and telling their friends
31:30about it thank you post product okay thank you so it's our movie not my movie our movie okay we did it
31:39together okay but yeah post that's post production like advertisement marketing whatever okay but uh
31:46uh this post production okay yeah in filmmaking in hollywood or anywhere else yeah pre-production
31:54production post production okay pre-production is like a location scouting screenwrite screenplay writing
32:02maybe hiring of some actors actresses makeup artists and uh choreographers okay in hollywood movie okay so
32:12and production phase actual film name okay and post production that's like a marketing advertisement okay
32:19distribution okay welcome good evening yeah yeah we'll talk about some filmmaking okay yeah welcome good evening
32:26yeah happy everyone cheers yeah
32:30yeah
32:34yeah so uh so uh so pre-production and production phase just me alone okay yeah by design by intention
32:45by purpose okay yeah it was it was nice okay yeah
33:00it was fun
33:05yeah like being alone out there in the desert
33:09being alone with god god is
33:12beauty being alone with the nature
33:16being alone with
33:18in the universe
33:21and the night came okay but it was still warm okay yeah it's like maybe june
33:27your yacht
33:29maybe 2008
33:32or somewhere around there okay so
33:37because i was 10 and 9 okay so
33:39yeah uh it was dry desert
33:43mojave desert
33:45california
33:47but at night it was still warm so i slept in my car
33:51uh sometimes sometimes okay
33:54other times driving back to my hotel room
33:58hotel
34:01but at night it was still warm
34:12maybe some desert get cold at night
34:16okay but mojave desert it didn't get cold at all it was still
34:21pretty warm okay so
34:26yeah no problem
34:32yeah
34:33yeah
34:39yeah so it was very nice to pronounce uh uh just some full fly
34:44again okay
34:54oh yeah that's nice and uh
34:56but one time i i can't draw further with my Chevy red Chevy Corsica okay it's a nice car okay
35:18featured in the movie okay i dropped a little bit more into the desert okay and my car got stuck in the sand okay
35:25then i called triple a and they came and they
35:30uh
35:32saved the day for us okay so uh they got extraction devices okay and yeah so i got i did get help from triple a
35:43who kind of just came and because i'm triple a member okay
35:47kind of actually extracted my car from the
35:50death of sand and also yeah the
35:53California state park rangers okay they also helped me out
36:00because you know to call triple a
36:02that was like back in 1998
36:06i didn't have cell phone back then okay so i had to walk
36:10landline okay maybe i did have flip cell phone but there's no cell phone recession
36:16okay so i had to walk all the way to two maybe two three miles from that parking lot okay
36:24yeah so California uh state park ranger station next morning okay i yeah walk there and they have
36:32landline okay so that's how i call triple a okay so
36:37i got a lot of help okay i did okay so i typically yeah so uh strictly speaking yeah i did not make the movie
36:47alone okay okay i got some help
36:51thank you even during the production like process production stage phase
36:58there we made this movie together okay oh yeah absolutely okay
37:09yeah
37:14so i think that's about it okay because i had some vocal rest okay i've been talking
37:19past what three four hours okay and i had to eat some food and uh after that i would need to brush my teeth
37:28dental housing very important okay yeah i had to go to bed
37:31do not sleep okay okay okay yeah

38:16oh if you can yeah the musical instruments because i couldn't talk
38:20okay so okay but i admire you can do that musical instruments playing fantastic yeah the music in the movie
38:28yeah computer generated not artificial intelligence okay yeah cubase is german based uh music
38:40editor okay i wrote that music myself okay so just playing the musical software with different
38:49musical instruments because i i i couldn't play musical worlds okay although i admire people who can play
38:57play musical instruments okay like guitar piano okay okay yeah drums okay yeah but i wrote that music myself
39:07you're not ai no but i played in the musical software okay okay cubase stanford cubase okay from
