00:00You go, girlfriend!
00:01Oh, pretty good, huh?
00:03Welcome to Ms. Mojo.
00:04And today, we're looking at the most talented cast members
00:07who went underused during their time on Saturday Night Live.
00:10Even when some of these names were given a chance to shine,
00:12their contributions often went underappreciated.
00:15I thought he was deserving.
00:17Very good.
00:18Very good.
00:20Number 20. Joan Cusack.
00:22This character actress has honed a variety of eccentric personalities,
00:25ranging from happy-go-lucky to straight-up demented.
00:28Her comedic versatility made her an inspired choice for SNL.
00:32Gentlemen, welcome to Midday.
00:34Now, each of you have come very close to achieving world domination,
00:40and yet, in every case, your plans have been thwarted by one man.
00:45In addition to original characters like talk show host Jennifer Hicks
00:48and the socially awkward Selena,
00:50Cusack showcased her impressions of celebrities like Brooke Shields.
00:53Timing wasn't on Cusack's side,
00:55as she joined the cast along with several others in season 11.
00:58I can't hold down a job.
01:00I'm paralyzed with anxiety and fear most of the time.
01:05No one understands what I'm going through.
01:07It's like my life is a whirlpool of despair.
01:13Uh-oh.
01:16Sounds like somebody's being a little sad sack.
01:19While Lorne Michaels had returned,
01:21the show was still trying to get its groove back after a rough few years.
01:24The slate was mostly wiped clean in season 12,
01:27with Cusack being among the cast perch.
01:29Seeing how Cusack went on to score two Oscar nominations,
01:32we think she could have thrived on SNL during another era.
01:36Oh, Hildy.
01:37You are a godsonian.
01:39Without you, I'd have to get my life together and be a real wife and mother.
01:42Number 19.
01:44Nassim Pedrad.
01:45This comedic actress had a considerable run on SNL,
01:48appearing on five seasons from 2009 through 2014.
01:52Sometimes you're simply too late and you must wait for the next one.
01:56Because if you don't...
01:57Like a piano's gonna fall on me or something?
01:59No, I can't take this anymore.
02:00No, don't leave.
02:01This is fun.
02:02But unfortunately,
02:03she didn't receive the screen time that would have turned her into a household name.
02:07And it's clearly not for any lack of showmanship.
02:10Pedrad had some hilarious highlights throughout her time as a cast member.
02:13She shined in roles where she played the awkward yet unexpectedly confident type.
02:18That's a smart coat.
02:20It's my dad.
02:21He's pretty much the coolest guy in the world.
02:23Same with my mom.
02:25Yeah, people think it's weird, but our parents are the only link to the past.
02:29And treasure troll those stories from the late 70s.
02:32Oh my god.
02:33From her character Bedelia, who'd rather hang with her mom at the school dance,
02:37to Shallon, who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to enter a van for candy,
02:41her performances were always a standout.
02:44These guys obviously look up to you.
02:45Are you the leader in the class or something?
02:46Unofficial, no title, but that seems pretty accurate.
02:49Okay.
02:49In 2014, she made her exit to instead co-star in NBC's Mulaney.
02:55And, well, we all know how that turned out.
02:57Number 18.
02:58Taron Killam.
02:59This former MAD TV star reached a wider audience on SNL,
03:03dropping by the Weekend Update desk as 19th century newspaper critic Jebediah Atkinson.
03:08Patrick Henry, give me liberty or give me death.
03:11Death, please.
03:13Next.
03:14He gained further recognition with his impression of Ted Cruz,
03:17and played the titular character in the surreal short Mokiki.
03:21Spending six seasons on SNL,
03:23it felt like Killam was on the verge of a breakthrough.
03:26Everybody's doing it.
03:27Mokiki does the sloppy swish.
03:29Donald Trump was on his way to becoming President of the United States,
03:33and Killam could do a pretty good impression.
03:35Killam was suddenly let go in 2016, however.
03:38He isn't entirely sure why,
03:40but considering how Alec Baldwin and James Austin Johnson enjoyed immense viral success as Trump,
03:45Killam also could have captured the zeitgeist if only SNL had kept him around longer.
03:50Or if Trump had run four years earlier.
03:52My personal experience with it,
03:54he said something at that host dinner that I found at the time shocking,
03:59and now more so where they were talking about,
04:01yeah, you're running for president.
04:02What a big thing to take on.
04:04He's like, you know, listen, if I don't win this thing, I'm going to be fine.
04:07We just bought this huge property in Scotland.
04:09If I have to be president, I'm never going to see that thing.
04:12Number 17, Sarah Silverman.
04:14Sarah Silverman is anything but forgettable,
04:16but even her most devoted fans struggle to remember that she was a cast member on SNL for a season.
04:21She first appeared in the sixth episode of season 19,
04:25ultimately popping up in 10 as a featured player.
04:27Do you know what a pap smear is, Kevin?
04:30No, I'm not sure.
04:31Well, I'll tell you.
04:33It's kind of like a throat culture, only you don't gag.
04:36Silverman was mostly restricted to background roles,
04:39while the sketches she wrote went almost entirely unused.
04:42Just one reached dress rehearsal, and even that didn't air.
04:46Looking back, Silverman isn't spiteful about being fired,
04:49feeling she wasn't ready for SNL.
04:51I hope you're happy.
04:53You made her swear.
04:56Come on, let's go.
04:57You can be so cruel.
04:59Come on, Molly.
05:00We'd argue that SNL wasn't ready for Silverman,
05:03whose twisted sense of humor would make her one of the most unique voices in comedy.
05:07This had become clear by the time she returned to host SNL.
05:10I have a gun I want to give you.
05:12I know you live in a crappy neighborhood,
05:15and I'd feel terrible if anything happened to you.
05:18You're such a cool chick.
05:20Number 16, Damon Wayans.
05:22Damon Wayans' SNL stint is remembered for one sketch,
05:26and it's the one that got him fired.
05:27Joining during the ill-fated 11th season,
05:30Wayans felt he was going underutilized,
05:32with many of his ideas being shot down.
05:34Hey, I mean, hey,
05:36I guess life is just a series of unanswered mysteries.
05:41Exactly.
05:41Yeah.
05:42Hey.
05:46Exactly.
05:47Like, what's the deal with Fred Flintstone's feet?
05:51Wayans sensed that Lorne Michaels was holding him back,
05:54most likely because he wanted to avoid comparisons to Eddie Murphy.
05:57He was given yet another thankless role as a cop in Mr. Monopoly.
06:01Wayans made himself the center of attention,
06:03spontaneously giving the character a flamboyant gay twist.
06:06If the Parker brothers could see you now, they puke.
06:09Why you ain't in jail, Mr.
06:11Oh, that's right, you're Mr. Monopoly.
06:12He knew his days as an SNL cast member were over,
06:15but Wayans broke new ground with another sketch comedy series in Living Color.
06:19While Wayans later returned to Studio 8H,
06:22SNL had benched a star in the making.
06:24It's good to be here.
06:25It's nice to come out, you know,
06:27and have a chance to host a show.
06:30That's great, you know,
06:31because usually brothers don't get a chance to host nothing, you know,
06:34not even like the news.
06:36Number 15, Abby Elliott.
06:38Abby Elliott lasted longer as an SNL cast member than her father, Chris Elliott.
06:42During her four seasons,
06:44she demonstrated impressions of Angelina Jolie,
06:46Meryl Streep, and Zooey Deschanel, among others.
06:49Garbage, garbage, it's fun to bring them garbage.
06:52And I have some examples.
06:57This lamp used to be an antique watering can.
07:01Although Elliott's quirky sensibilities made her an ideal candidate for SNL,
07:05she was often overshadowed during her four years on the show.
07:08Her exit in 2012 received minimal fanfare,
07:11with more attention going to Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig.
07:14How boring.
07:15I already got a space baby.
07:17Oh, really?
07:19Yeah, and my boyfriend was born an old man,
07:21and he's turning into a baby.
07:23Whereas those two left of their own accord,
07:25Elliott wasn't invited back.
07:27Elliott has remained a comedic firecracker
07:29and has shown her dramatic range on shows like The Bear.
07:32Even now, though,
07:33Elliott has struggled to shake the underrated status
07:35that has followed her since SNL.
07:37But there's something else I want to talk to you about, Seth.
07:41What's that?
07:42The dogs.
07:43Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
07:45The dogs, Seth.
07:46Do-be-do-be-do-be-dee.
07:49Number 14, Jenny Slate.
07:50Some would argue that Jenny Slate's SNL career began and ended with her first sketch,
07:56in which she accidentally let a certain F-word slip.
07:59We're not talking about friggin'.
08:00You friggin' just threw an ashtray full of butts at my head.
08:03You know what?
08:04You stood up for yourself, and I f***ing love you for that.
08:07In reality, Slate lasted a whole season on SNL,
08:11appearing in several other sketches.
08:13While Slate claims that her profanity wasn't why SNL fired her,
08:16we doubt it helped.
08:17It would also explain why SNL rarely gave Slate the spotlight from that point on.
08:22Four horns for people in relationship.
08:25Honk.
08:26How could you sleep with Denise?
08:27Oh my god.
08:29Can't believe you did it to me.
08:30This is a terrible betrayal, beep.
08:32Better things awaited Slate,
08:34who would exemplify her assorted talents through sitcom appearances,
08:37voiceover roles, and independent productions.
08:40This was another case of SNL simply not knowing how to utilize someone who didn't quite mesh.
08:44Just because Slate didn't fit the SNL mold doesn't mean she couldn't etch out her own place elsewhere.
08:49Thank you so much for joining us on Pageant Talk.
08:53And remember, keep reaching for the stores,
08:55because stores don't have arms to reach for you.
08:58Number 13.
09:00Tim Robinson.
09:01A comedian as unhinged as Tim Robinson cannot be kept on a leash.
09:05You gotta let him run wild.
09:06While SNL has had its fair share of out-there sketches,
09:09Robinson's humor is on another plane of existence.
09:12Well, that's where the popcorn pops.
09:18That's the drawing board.
09:19Okay, see you again.
09:20As such, more than a few of his sketches were rejected when he was a writer and performer on SNL.
09:25It wasn't until he started to headline projects like
09:28I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson that more people recognized his comedic genius.
09:32We know we are partially to blame.
09:34We took the pictures with our mouths wide open.
09:37As if to say, put something awful in here.
09:40Re-watching his old work on SNL, it feels like a series of missed opportunities.
09:46SNL was probably never going to be strange enough to accommodate Robinson.
09:49In that sense, leaving was perhaps the best thing that could have happened to him.
09:53I think I'm ready, yeah.
09:54Okay, so is that a yes or a no?
09:56It's a no.
09:56Get out of here!
09:57Get out!
09:58Move!
09:58He's entitled to his own opinion!
10:00Number 12.
10:02Jay Farrow.
10:03Blue Ivy, ho for Junior.
10:05Ha ha ha, yep!
10:06You don't have to be great at impressions to be an SNL star, but it certainly helps.
10:12Jay Farrow just happens to be fantastic at them.
10:15And it showed during his tenure at Saturday Night Live.
10:18Hey, Cheryl, it's such a treat.
10:21I feel like it's been years since I've seen you.
10:24Sure, just about every SNL fan is aware of Farrow's nearly perfect take on Barack Obama.
10:31But we'd argue that his impressions of other celebrities, such as Denzel Washington, were
10:35possibly even better.
10:37Oh, look at this here.
10:39This is nice.
10:40This is very nice.
10:41Yeah, thank you.
10:42You bought this?
10:43I did.
10:44Huh?
10:45This handbag right here?
10:46That's what you...
10:46This is yours?
10:47Yes, it is.
10:48Farrow just possesses a knack for nailing down every little detail and personality quirk about
10:54his subjects.
10:54Not to mention an ease and confidence that make him tailor-made for the Saturday Night
10:59Live stage.
11:00Na, na, na, na.
11:01On May 24th, Kim and I are getting married, fam.
11:05Number 11.
11:06Kevin Nealon.
11:07Every good comedic bit needs a straight man.
11:10There were few SNL alum that were better at this often thankless task than Kevin Nealon.
11:15Feels like hair?
11:16Yeah.
11:18So hairy bodies are good?
11:19Definitely.
11:21Well, then why should I keep my shirt on?
11:24The comedian was probably best known for his excellent stint as host of Weekend Update,
11:32where we got to witness one of his classic characters, Mr. Subliminal.
11:36I mean, Germany...
11:37German reunification is right around the corner.
11:41Big mistake.
11:41However, Nealon was also great in skits, and could be relied upon to allow a more animated
11:47co-star, such as Adam Sandler or Chris Farley, to shine by holding things together.
11:58If Saturday Night Live was a well-oiled machine, then it was Kevin Nealon that helped keep those
12:03gears in motion as an underrated member of the cast.
12:06Hey, is that Brenda out here fooling up?
12:10Probably.
12:10Let me check.
12:16Look-see.
12:18Yep, looks like her.
12:19Number 10.
12:20Bobby Moynihan.
12:21Bobby Moynihan was a member of the SNL cast for nearly 10 years, and for that, we are deeply
12:27thankful.
12:28I mean, you know, kids, they need to pull up their pants, Seth.
12:32Kids today, kids today, they're always saying,
12:36Tax me, tax me, tax me.
12:39Don't you write a letter, you dummy.
12:42Not just because of his popular roles, like the recurring Weekend Update character of Drunk
12:46Uncle, but also due to his valuable balance of physical comedy and impressions.
12:51Do you understand the pressure that I'm under?
12:53I got a science project that's two weeks late.
12:56I'm five chapters behind in Tale of Two Cities, and I don't have a friggin' date to the dance.
13:03Moynihan could make the audience laugh with subtle facial expressions, or get a huge reaction
13:07from some over-the-top stunt.
13:09Let's take a look at the slow-mo.
13:11He completely misjudged where that first pad was.
13:14It was almost as if there was absolutely no communication between his brain and his body.
13:18It's this versatility that made Moynihan underrated in a cast that included some pretty big names,
13:24including Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, and Kristen Wiig.
13:27Being able to stand out in that crowd is just one of the reasons why he's still remembered so fondly.
13:32Hey Han, how do you work this friggin' thing?
13:38Number 9. Terry Sweeney
13:40Bearing no relation to the more well-known Julia Sweeney,
13:43Terry Sweeney was only a part of the SNL cast for one season.
13:46I don't know why, but the maple fudge is selling better than ever before,
13:50and the almonds fudge is even surpassing that.
13:53However, he actually worked as a staff writer in the years prior to his 1985 promotion.
13:58Terry made history as the first openly gay male member of the cast.
14:02The trailblazing comedian displayed an outrageous sense of humor and bold creative voice.
14:07A round-trip ticket to Aruba?
14:10And $5,000 mad money!
14:12Oh!
14:13Oh!
14:13Oh!
14:13Oh!
14:13Oh!
14:14Oh!
14:14Oh!
14:15Oh!
14:15Oh!
14:15Oh!
14:16Oh!
14:16Oh!
14:18Take that off!
14:20Marky!
14:20Marky!
14:21This key wouldn't have to belong to that little Corvette outside in front, would it?
14:25Sweeney's impressions of female celebrities like Joan Rivers were envelope-pushing for the period.
14:30In a time when Saturday Night Live was struggling to connect with viewers and critics,
14:34his energetic delivery also stood out.
14:37Here's hoping that Terry Sweeney's underrated work can be rediscovered by a new generation today.
14:42Well, I just want to thank you.
14:45Well, I just want to thank you.
14:46Thank you, Johnny, wherever you are, for giving me my first big break.
14:52I owe it all to you, Johnny.
14:53Now eat my dust!
14:57Number 8.
14:58Sherry Oteri.
14:59Most SNL fans best remember Sherry Oteri from her comedy Dream Team pairing with Will Ferrell
15:04during the Spartan cheerleader sketches.
15:06Oh my god, we are playing great chess right now!
15:08I know!
15:09How's my hair look?
15:10It looks okay, you have some split ends though.
15:12I'm sorry, I'm a friend.
15:14But we shouldn't limit her skill to this admittedly great character.
15:17I want you to slow it down now, and tell me just what I could.
15:21Oteri could be relied upon to be incredibly creative with her comedy,
15:24from developing outside-the-box characters like Nadine and Colette Reardon,
15:27to her impeccable take on television icon Barbara Walters.
15:32Oh, and let's not forget her pairing with Chris Kattan as the Zimmermans,
15:36who took the PDA acronym to a whole new level with their affectionate antics.
15:40I said go down.
15:41You want to go down?
15:42Maybe I want to go up, huh?
15:43Maybe I want to go up.
15:44I said go down.
15:45I'm going to go back up again.
15:46No, I want you to go down.
15:47I said go down.
15:48I'll go back up again.
15:48I said go down, baby.
15:50I'm not going to go down.
15:51Number 7.
15:52Jan Hooks.
15:53Remove your shirt.
15:55Good lady Smythe.
15:57There's a chill.
16:00Remove it!
16:01The greatly missed Jan Hooks was a part of the fresh and new SNL cast for 1986,
16:06a group that included future stars Phil Hartman and Dana Carvey.
16:11While Hooks never seemed to achieve the mainstream heights of some of her castmates,
16:14she absolutely delivered the comedic goods.
16:17The comedian killed it as one half of the Sweeney sisters,
16:21a superb parody of a lounge act from the 1970s or 80s.
16:24The 70s.
16:26The 70s.
16:27Now that's a decade that still has us all puzzled.
16:30Not a clue.
16:31Went right over my head.
16:33I lost it.
16:33I don't know.
16:34She also showed off her down-to-earth warmth and charisma as Brenda the Waitress.
16:39Ready to tell me what you like?
16:41I'm ready.
16:42You look it.
16:43You got some specials that look real fine.
16:46I'm pretty proud of them.
16:48Although she may not have become as famous and well-known as other great comedians,
16:52one thing's for sure.
16:53She connected with fans and colleagues alike from around the world.
16:57Somewhere between cleanliness and godliness lies compulsion.
17:01The world's most indulgent disinfectant.
17:03Number 6.
17:04Tim Meadows
17:05We know what you might be thinking.
17:07How could someone who had an SNL tenure as long as Tim Lil Hockey Meadows be underrated?
17:12You know, I have two loves in my life.
17:15Fourth of July and, of course, teamwork.
17:19Really?
17:20And yet on your application, you put here teamwork is for suckers.
17:24When I'm hired, I will do to teamwork what Napoleon did to Japan.
17:28Yeah, he conquered Japan, right?
17:31We'd argue that the freshness of his work and how much he grew as a performer throughout
17:35his 10-season run on the show made him into an underappreciated superstar.
17:39Shirt in a can comes in four kick-ass styles.
17:43Golf shirt, dress shirt, tank top, and super fancy tuxedo shirt.
17:48The comedian cut his teeth working improv.
17:51His ability to adapt and progress served Meadows well once he made it onto Saturday Night Live
17:56in 1991.
17:58Meadows was much more than the ladies' man character.
18:01Mmm.
18:02Yeah.
18:03These Viagras are good.
18:06Mmm-hmm.
18:07Tastes like chocolate.
18:09Not only did he write skits behind the scenes, but the show greatly benefited from his natural
18:14ability to develop unique celebrity impressions.
18:17Mr. Simpson, do you even know who Dr. King was?
18:21Oh, sure I do.
18:22He was that black woman who kicked all those people off the bus.
18:25Number 5.
18:26Anna Gasteyer.
18:27Call this next entry a case of underrated in one medium, but not in another.
18:31Today, Anna Gasteyer is well-known, loved, and respected for her work on Broadway.
18:37But since she was on SNL before her career really took off, she remains one of the series'
18:42more underrated players.
18:44Wow.
18:45I can't wait to get my mouth around this ball.
18:48We're thinking beyond the classic sweaty ball skit with Molly Shannon and Alec Baldwin,
18:52and more of her razor-sharp impersonations.
18:55A robin's egg splatters in a prism of harvest colors.
19:00That felt really good.
19:01Gasteyer's takes on Martha Stewart and Celine Dion were incredibly spot-on.
19:05To all my Jewish friends, back home in Quebec, I would like to say,
19:09Shwaya Hanukkah!
19:11And some of her original characters, such as Lilith Fair folk singer, comedian Cinder Calhoun,
19:17are both of their time and hilariously timeless, thanks to Anna's unique comedic voice.
19:22We practically peed our pants.
19:25We were laughing so hard.
19:26Number 4.
19:27Will Forte.
19:28You're getting shut down!
19:30But nobody wants to work with a crybaby fart face!
19:33You're out of business!
19:34He made his way to SNL for an eight-year tour of duty.
19:38To be fair, Forte's first artistic love seems to have always been writing.
19:42He has a seriously impressive resume of behind-the-scenes credits.
19:56However, his work on the SNL stage remains underrated for those with an open mind to creative comedy.
20:02The way Forte paired up with Jason Sudeikis as the reverse hair metal icon's John Bovee was genius.
20:17He also gave us the boneheaded but beloved MacGyver knockoff, MacGruber.
20:24Fans could always rely on something unique and outside the box when it came to a Will Forte performance.
20:30Forget it!
20:31I don't care what you think anyway!
20:33Okay?
20:34Because I'm very good at my job!
20:37I don't think I'm not good at my job!
20:38MacGruber!
20:40Number 3.
20:41Lorraine Newman.
20:42There have been countless comedians who have entered the SNL cast via their work with the Groundlings Improv Group and Comedy School.
20:58This has been true from the beginning,
21:00seeing as Groundlings founding member Lorraine Newman was part of the OG Saturday Night Live cast.
21:05My boyfriend Brad and me were supposed to get married and everything, you know?
21:08So I was making a peach cobbler for his mother,
21:10and I overheard her say,
21:12look, the chicks is making us a Presbyterian pie!
21:16Despite making history in that first class of comedians,
21:19she and fellow not-ready-for-prime-time player Garrett Morris were both underrated in the grand scheme of things.
21:24Lorraine's decision not to revisit many of her original characters may have hampered her reputation as a household name today.
21:31Ew, that's disgusting!
21:34However, her charisma, timing, and natural charm in those early seasons
21:39still resonate with SNL historians.
21:41And hey, she was Connie Conehead.
21:43My name is Connie, and I am 16 Earth years old.
21:47Number 2.
21:48Ben Stiller.
21:49This comedy giant landed a gig as an SNL writer and performer
21:52largely thanks to his short film, The Hustler of Money.
21:55Since that got him the job,
21:57you'd think that SNL would want him to contribute more projects like this.
22:00Hi.
22:02Look, I cut the line.
22:04I don't even deserve to be here.
22:05So I'm just gonna go to the back,
22:07and I'll see you in about 40 minutes or so.
22:09Oh, that's fine.
22:10And good for you!
22:12SNL wasn't a stranger to short films,
22:15which only became more prominent during the digital era years later.
22:18Shorts were not a priority for SNL,
22:20wanting Stiller to focus on live sketches.
22:23Stiller thus left after only four episodes.
22:25For me, it was the pacing.
22:27I felt the pacing was like...
22:28Fast.
22:29Oh, it was quick.
22:30Quick.
22:31It was quick.
22:31It was quick.
22:32It was like this.
22:32Then it started going like this.
22:34Stiller eventually blew up as an actor and director,
22:37leaving us to wonder what might have been
22:39had SNL allowed him to experiment with shorts.
22:41Although Stiller was apprehensive about live performances,
22:44he later hosted SNL,
22:45proving that he could have done it all.
22:47I'm in a new dramatic movie.
22:50It's called Permanent Midnight.
22:54You've seen it.
22:55You've seen it coming in.

23:13Number 1.
23:14Julia Louis-Dreyfus
23:15When Julia Louis-Dreyfus landed a spot on SNL,
23:18she was the youngest female cast member to date.
23:20Between her later work on Seinfeld and Veep,
23:22Louis-Dreyfus cemented her status
23:24as a comedy legend.
23:25Well, why don't we say grace?
23:28Let's not and say we did.
23:29Well, that's another alternative.
23:32What?
23:33Look, what makes you think your god is the right god?
23:36God is probably,
23:37probably Muslim or Hindu or something.
23:39Ever think of that?
23:40No, because you're too narrow.
23:42Despite her stature in the industry now,
23:44Louis-Dreyfus' three seasons as an SNL cast member
23:47were not as fulfilling as one might expect.
23:49As characters like Evangelist, April, May, June,
23:52Louis-Dreyfus' natural charisma was on full display.
23:55You don't read in the Bible about Joseph
23:57arguing with the man at the front desk
23:59for 15 minutes about a room, do you?
24:02I mean, what was he doing?
24:04Where was his spine?
24:05He just let his wife have her baby in some nasty barn.
24:09You know how men are.
24:11I mean, he was a carpenter.
24:12He could have built her a house.
24:14Most of the time, though,
24:15Louis-Dreyfus felt out of place on set,
24:17which was rampant with sexism at the time.
24:20While SNL led to her meeting
24:21Seinfeld co-creator Larry David,
24:23this was a preview of better things to come.
24:25Louis-Dreyfus has since hosted SNL multiple times,
24:28dominating the limelight
24:29that always should have been hers.
24:31Oh man, it is so nice to be back.
24:34I had a blast hosting last year,
24:36and wow, things have been going
24:38really, really well for me.
