00:00A paranormal investigator suddenly died while touring with the infamous and supposedly haunted Annabelle Dahl on the night of July 13th, his tour organizers have announced.
00:11Dan Rivera, a U.S. Army veteran, was on his sold-out Devils on the Run tour in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, when firefighters and medics rushed to his hotel, The Evening Sun reported.
00:22CPR was performed, but Rivera, 54, died, according to the New England Society for Psychic Research, or NESPR, where he was the lead investigator.
00:32His exact cause of death remains unclear.
00:35As part of his tour, Rivera was traveling around the U.S. with other members of the NESPR to show off Annabelle, the infamous demonic doll depicted in the Conjuring horror movie franchise.
00:45The films are based off the experiences of NESPR founders and paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
00:55Rivera teased the tour in a social media video showing the infamous doll to the tune of The Final Countdown.
01:01Annabelle, a Raggedy Ann doll, was tied to a series of supposed hauntings in 1970, after being given to a Connecticut nursing student named Donna.
01:18According to Ed and Lorraine Warren, the doll physically lifted its own arms, followed people around the apartment, and would display other frightening and malicious behavior.
01:27They even claimed that Annabelle had stabbed a police officer and caused a car crash involving a priest.

01:40A psychic medium claimed the doll was inhabited by the spirit of a dead six-year-old girl called Annabelle.
01:46The Warrens said it was demonically possessed and moved the doll to their museum in Connecticut.
01:51After Ed's death in 2006 and Lorraine's in 2019, the Warrens Occult Museum and the NESPR have been maintained in Connecticut,
