00:00When I found out that you guys were doing a holiday weekend as the season two,
00:04I was talking with my stepmom who works in an emergency room,
00:07and she said, is it 4th of July?
00:08She knew right away.
00:10Can you talk about how that holiday sets up a perfect season two storyline?
00:15Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of accidents that happen on 4th of July.
00:19I've seen a lot of videos and pictures of hands being blown up.
00:22I mean, it happens more than we want to think about.
00:25There's also, especially in Pittsburgh, a lot of sub-communities that are going to show up.
00:30That are fun and real, and there's just a lot of celebration and rooms for accidents.
00:38So it's going to be fun.
00:39It's going to be a wild, surprising ride for people.
00:42I mean, I am not from America.
00:44I had no idea what 4th of July was.
00:46I had to Google that.
00:47I thought it was the Boston Tea Party.
00:49I had no idea.
00:50I did a lot of research.
00:51I think it's the perfect day because it's such a day of joy for a lot of people.
00:55Fireworks and getting together and community.
00:57So I think that from happiness and inebriation, I think, is a really exciting place to start a conversation.
01:06I think it's a really political show.
01:07It's a very American show.
01:09We're really showing what feels like a real part of America.
01:12It's not glossy.
01:13It's not glamorized.
01:15It's like the real life of working in an ED for a full day.
01:19So I think 4th of July is something that a lot of every American has such potent memories of.
01:24And it's a really patriotic holiday.
01:26And I think that's all I can say.
