00:00we have today from morning four o'clock we have started this operation in this operation we have
00:08taken up the all india tourist permits of buses operating in karnataka these vehicles are
00:17registered outside karnataka and they have to obtain this all india tourist permit permit
00:24by paying fees all india permit fees and registered in other than karnataka so they are playing from
00:34other state to karnataka hence they are liable to pay state tax so there comes violation of permit
00:42condition because they are operating it as a stage carriage as against the registration as contract
00:50carriage and then uh taxes uh taxes were due on these vehicles the state taxes were due
00:58hence we have seized this uh these vehicles these 25 buses so in this uh enforcement activity

01:13transport shimati shoba joint commissioner transport shimati gaitri devi and all my rto's inspectors
01:25have participated in this uh mainly safety issues issues are also seen in this uh checking activity
01:36what about passengers actually these are the they are uh tourists they they were supposed to carry
01:43tourists in these buses uh they were carrying uh against the permit condition so we have made alternate
01:50arrangement for each and every passenger we have made all private buses and uh uh bmtc buses for them
01:58for conveyance
