Leaders of the 'Coalition of the Willing' gathered in London and online, calling for even tougher sanctions to force Russia back to the negotiating table as the war in Ukraine drags on. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, joined by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and more than twenty allied heads of government, urged global partners to expand sanctions beyond Russia’s biggest oil companies to target the entire Russian energy sector and its shadow fleet operations. 00:00Ukraine's future is our future. What happens in the weeks and months ahead is pivotal for the
00:07security of the United Kingdom and all our allies across NATO and beyond. So we are determined to
00:15act now to dial up the pressure on Putin and finally bring him to the negotiating table in
00:22good fight. And we have to apply pressure not only to Rosneft and Lukoil, but to all Russian oil,
00:32companies like Sorvut Neftegaz and others, and to the shadow fleet and its infrastructure and to
00:39Russia's oil terminals. Peace is born from pressure on the aggressor, and that is what we must continue
00:48to do. Thank you. The sanctions that the U.S. has placed against Russia's largest oil companies
00:55will starve them of revenue and significantly increase the pressure on Putin to come to the
01:02negotiating table. And they show once again that President Trump is absolutely committed to end
01:09this war and bring a lasting peace to Ukraine. In Ukraine, Putin is gaining little ground on the
01:15battlefield. And there are marginal gains. They are coming at a huge price. Hundreds of thousands
01:22of Russians are dying for Putin's deluded aggression. Ukraine continues defending itself bravely and our
01:29support to them is working. The truth is that Putin is running out of money, troops and ideas. President
01:39Trump said that very well. They should stop where they are now.
01:44This week, important message will be taken in the U.S. and the U.S. The coordination for further
01:49steps we could take is necessary. First of all, sanctions. It will be good if the U.S. were to copy
01:55the U.S.-U.K. sanctions against Lukoil and Rosneft. We must also do more to dismantle the shadow
02:01fleet systems, and the Netherlands will take its part when it comes to the North Sea.
02:05The idea of letting Russia pay for the damages they have done in Ukraine is the only way
02:11forward. Of course, there are some technical questions that has to be answered. There are
02:17a lot of details that we have to work on. But first and foremost, this is a political decision
02:22and a political choice. I support the idea totally. And I think we we have to work in a way that
02:34we have a solution before Christmas Eve. So we are able to ensure that we can finance Ukraine
02:44for the next years.
02:45A&P. For a good judge.
02:46Sorry, I thought it was to reply on what you were asked for. No, no, no, no. No, no, no.
02:51My apologies.
