00:00I thought we would be one big happy family forever, but the universe had
00:05other plans. I'm very sorry. It's never too late to make a choice that's going to
00:12make this life worth living. The movie just invites people to think about the
00:17decisions they've made, where they are in life, and how they feel about it.
00:23Don't you want to know why they were together?
00:26It's amazing. It's also a big responsibility. You know, there's huge fans of the book out
00:34there. We wanted to honor that, and we could use some hope for sure. And I think that's
00:38why people will respond to this movie. It's nice to just walk out of the theater, feel
00:42some hope, feel some catharsis, and just like kind of feel a little bit lighter.
00:45We set out to do something very daunting and difficult, and that's telling part of the
00:59story of that beautiful man. We had his support. We had John's support, his manager. I love
01:04Scott. I love Jeremy. I love Odessa. I'm feeling very lucky to be here.
01:07Mommy? The bathroom has water in it. Come quickly!
01:25I try very hard to be in control of her and everything, but it may as well not even be there at all.
01:34Mommy! Hey! Hey, we just got home, and you would not believe...
01:40This isn't supposed to be what it's like. This isn't it. This can't be it.
01:51Everything is under control.
01:54Ha!
01:54I always thought just being ready is the point.
02:03It keeps the villain check.
02:06It keeps the world straight.
02:08No one starts a nuclear war.
02:12If we get this wrong,
02:14none of us are going to be alive tomorrow.
02:18There is no plan B.
02:19We did everything right, right?
02:21The walls are just ready to blow.
