00:00Coming up next is the main event at Bantamweight Muay Thai as Nantachai meets Sauner Shen.
00:08Nantachai is three years younger, one inch taller.
00:12Both make the Bantamweight limit as Thailand meets Turkey.
00:17We're going Global Rules Muay Thai.
00:20That's three, three-minute rounds.
00:21The 10-point must system will be in use by three judges.
00:24From the blue corner, Sauner Shen!
00:35The golden boy, Sauner Shen, representing Turkey.
00:42Training out of the Team Medisatut Gym down there in Pattaya.
00:48Sauner Shen started Muay Thai as a kid.
00:51You see him there, fist bumping his wife.
00:56From the red corner, Nantachai!
01:07Nantachai, 25-year-old, training out of the Jit Munang Gym there in Nantaburi.
01:16A couple of famous fighters to come out of that gym.
01:19One namely, the Iron Man, Ra-Tang.
01:21Not a bad gym to be training at.
01:24He's a one-contracted fighter.
01:31Muay Thai is a martial art that's steeped in so much history and traditions.
01:37Going all the way back to the days where Muay Thai was used to train the warriors of the old kingdom of Xi'am now.
01:48The Y crew.
01:49Turkey!
01:52Sauner!
01:53Golden boy!
01:55Shen!
01:59Thailand!
02:03Nantachai!
02:05One Friday Fights is a place for dreams to come true and get that invitation to the big leagues at one championship.
02:17Main event, Sauner Shen coming out early, trying to find his hands right out the gates.
02:22Nantachai on the front foot, attacking the lead leg and the calf of Sauner Shen.
02:26Look at exactly what he needs to do, utilizing those little gloves just to a tee.
02:33Great power and speed on those straight shots down the pipe.
02:37Nantachai coming forward right away.
02:43Sauner Shen fighting off the backflip, which he can do very well.
02:47You know, we've seen he definitely needs to string together his combinations, use the hands and low kicks and piece them together well to try to overwhelm the very technical Nantachai.
02:57And you've got to remember, Nantachai told us that he, wow, beautiful combination there off the kick.
03:03Nantachai told us.
03:04Little catch and then a winging uppercut overhand combo there.
03:08But just because Shen is backpedaling does not mean that he's flustered.
03:12He did tell me that he was ready for Nantachai to come forward and initiate, but he was going to counter and disrupt.
03:20Shen's going to give these kicks on the forearm and the body with the shin of Nantachai.
03:25Oh, those uppercut hook combinations haven't been too accurate or effective quite yet.
03:32But there was a lot of torque coming from the direction of Sauner Shen, but Nantachai just continues to land that right kick at will almost.
03:42Very effective.
03:43And this is something Sauner Shen knew he needed to watch out for.
03:47He knew that from Nantachai are building slowly lots of damage on the body and the forearms.
03:55So both guys, different game plans, different approaches.
03:57Search of the next global superstar, Nantachai, already clutching that coveted contract, a star himself.
04:05Can Sauner Shen get an upset victory here?
04:09Take away some of that star power for himself.
04:13He moves forward right out the gates.
04:16Nantachai eating some big low kicks on the inside.
04:21Sauner Shen of managing the distance in the ring, creating opportunities for counter punches.
04:26You've got to wonder how much wear and tear is a feeling on his arms and body right now.
04:32Big knees coming from Nantachai.
04:36This is something you were speaking on earlier, Brian.
04:39Sauner Shen switching stance there momentarily, looking for a big winging overhand.
04:44He gets caught though.
04:47Drops his guard for a moment.
04:50And Nantachai makes him pay.
04:53Hey, Shen looking to his corner momentarily.
04:57Yeah, that was a great shot by Nantachai right down the middle, you know.
05:01Shen can get on his bicycle here, move a little bit.
05:04He was doing a good job with the counter punches, but he needs to keep sticking something out there.
05:08Big, big, busy with the jab.
05:10Chopped with those low kicks.
05:11It looked like early in the middle, Nantachai.
05:13The strategy that Nantachai has taken from maybe Wodupon.
05:18Talked about how he watched that trilogy, and he liked the way that Wodupon just imposed his will coming forward,
05:24not allowing Sauner Shen any time to set up and count form.
05:29And winning convincingly gives them the greatest opportunity to get to one.
05:35How badly does Sauner Shen want a victory over the contracted Nantachai to take him potentially to the next level?
05:44How badly does he want him with his kickboxing style, but doing well with that stiff jab so far?
05:51Nantachai made a better look, driving Nantachai onto the back foot, making him play the counter.
05:57We're going to be wearing him down.
05:58Can he pour it on under a minute?
06:00We go final round here in this main event.
06:04Sauner Shen, how badly does Wodupon work?
06:07Along the ropes, still attacking the body.
06:10I think Nantachai is hurt there, but he's just poker facing it, moving back, looking to kick and counter.
06:17Shen's driving for the finish at the end.
06:22Flurries coming from Sauner Shen at the end of that fight.
06:26But Nantachai escaping, showcasing some real...
06:32Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds of battle, we turn now to the judges' scorecards.
06:39Your winner, by way of majority decision, Nantachai!
06:48Nantachai!
06:51Nantachai!
06:54Picking up the decision, back in the winner's column.
07:00A very tough, hard-earned victory over the technical...
