00:00All medical corridors need to be opened.

00:07The most important one would be the reopening of the West Bank,

00:12including in Jerusalem referral hospitals and referral route.

00:17It is vital and it's the most cost-effective route.

00:21If that route opens, it would really be a little game change.

00:24WHO carried out, together with our great partners,

00:27the Palestinian Red Crescent Society,

00:30the first medical evacuation since the ceasefire.

00:3441 critical patients, all children,

00:38and 145 companions were evacuated to various countries.

00:42I want to stress, Medevac is a flagship priority program on WHO.

00:48We are ready to scale up to a minimum of 50 patients per day,

00:54plus companions in line with the previous ceasefire,

00:57according to the estimates of the Ministry of Health Medical Specialists,

01:00still around 15,000 plus people,

01:03of which almost 4,000 children need medical evacuation.
