00:04We are in the middle of the world.

00:05We can connect 4 billion people within 4-hour flights.

00:09It's the gateway to Africa and Asia.

00:11It's been happening, it's nothing new.

00:13Having those companies here with our large companies,

00:15small companies and startups,

00:17it gets us excited.

00:19But the reality is, Dubai has always been a magnet

00:22for those companies because the opportunities are there.

00:25This is where companies do connect

00:27from different parts of the world in Dubai.

00:30Gitex Global opened its 45th edition in Dubai

00:43with over 6,800 exhibitors.

00:46The world's biggest technology and AI event drew in record crowds

00:50as Bold Vision came together with the latest advancements

00:53changing the world we live in.

00:55M4D was an AI-native company

00:58for using AI in all levels of the population, patient

01:02and national health system.

01:04And it's extremely important to be here in Gitex.

01:07You meet academia, new innovative companies,

01:12new health organizations, and we can be up to date

01:15on all the developing and AI field.

01:17The Abu Dhabi government made headlines at the event

01:20when they announced a new feature to the super app TAM.

01:23It's being billed as the world's first AI public servant.

01:27What it does basically is think for you, do all those mundane service,

01:31registrations, renewals for you if you opt in.

01:34You never have to think about a government service again.

01:37What we're aiming to do as an AI-native government

01:40is not leave anyone behind.

01:41We are a very human-centric government.

01:43We use AI as a tool to make people's lives better.

01:46And we're focused on convenience and efficiency.

01:50And so that means upscaling all the public sector workforce in AI.

01:54We've reached 95% already.

01:56We're very excited about that.

01:58And that means enabling all of us to use AI to make our lives better,

02:02our jobs easier, and us much, much more efficient.

02:06The Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence was also in attendance

02:10and reflected on the success of the Dubai SEAL,

02:13which was launched earlier this year to certify trusted AI companies

02:17whilst also driving public-private partnerships.

02:21Once again, cementing the UAE as a global leader in AI.

02:25There's a clear difference between automation and AI.

02:27And we wanted to make sure that all the companies that are within the city

02:31are actually in AI companies.

02:33And we were thinking about how we could possibly do it.

02:36And that's where the idea of the AI SEAL came through.

02:38We wanted to make sure that we provide an AI SEAL to every AI company

02:42so that we're quite sure that they either develop AI,

02:46they consult in AI, they actually do research in AI.

02:50Whatever the case and interaction with AI,

02:52we can provide an AI SEAL to make sure that you are the right company.

02:55Expand Northstar is the world's largest gathering of startups and investors

02:59and is part of Jitex Global.

03:02This year's event attracted 2,000 startups

03:05and 1,200 investors from around 180 countries.

03:09We're seeing an investment just last year,

03:13investment into Dubai and upwards of more than 11 billion euros

03:18that have come through Dubai.

03:20We're seeing a large amount as well of companies that want to expand into the European market

03:26and trade between the EU and the UAE exceeding 200 billion as a result.

03:34So one thing we're seeing in terms of trends is we're seeing a lot of investors

03:39that want to explore new and developing markets, in particular from Europe,

03:43come to Dubai to do so and to events like expand Northstar here.

03:47Jitex Global is a crucial driver of cross-border investment

03:51and plays a major part in the growth of many companies.

03:54So this is my 15th Jitex.

03:59I think it used to be like more like telecom or IT driven.

04:05I witnessed the change from telecom, IT, now AI, big data, you know, LRM, all this kind of stuff.

04:13And this is becoming so popular, not only for Dubai or UE market,

04:17but it's really becoming a global event.

04:20For Tencent, we started, I joined Tencent in the year of 2022.

04:25And then I decided at that time, you know, it was not that easy to fly from China to UE.

04:32But we managed to be here.

04:35We started from here.

04:37The event is a cornerstone of the Dubai events calendar

04:40and organizers also announced it would expand further with additions in India and Brazil in 2027.

04:46Jitex Global is truly that.
