At least 20 people were killed after a private bus and a motorcycle collided, sparking a fuel leak and fire on the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route on Friday (Oct 24) morning.

00:00At least 20 people were killed after a private bus and a motorcycle collided,
00:06sparking a fuel leak and fire on the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route on Friday morning.
00:11The district revenue official, A. Siri, said 21 of the 41 passengers have been rescued,
00:17and 11 bodies have been identified so far.
00:20The passengers, mostly aged between 35 and 40,
00:23included several who managed to escape by breaking the emergency windows.
00:27Around 10 injured passengers were taken to the Government General Hospital in Kernool,
00:33while others who were trapped are feared dead.
00:36The victims' bodies were charred beyond recognition,
00:39and police along with forensic teams are collecting DNA samples for identification.
