A tragic accident took place in the early hours of Friday when a Hyderabad–Bengaluru Volvo bus caught fire near Chinnatekuru village in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district.
According to police reports, the bus — carrying over 40 passengers — went up in flames after a two-wheeler collided with it around 3 AM.
At least 11 people have been confirmed dead, with several others injured and many feared trapped. Rescue operations are underway as emergency teams rush to the scene.
The horrific visuals from the site show the vehicle completely gutted within minutes. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and identifying victims.
