The Alpine A290 Rallye was developed according to the FIA's eRally5 regulations and features the latest advances in active and passive safety.

At the beginning of assembly at the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé, a roll cage is welded to the structure. This, in turn, is reinforced to create specific anchor points comparable to those of a Rally3 car. The race-ready car is equipped with a range of first-class safety features: a Sabelt Spine bucket seat with a ten-year homologation, a six-point harness, an automatic fire extinguisher, and much more.

In addition, there are innovative battery monitoring systems and external light signals that inform track marshals and spectators in the event of an accident. In addition, Alpine has developed an exclusive sound system that produces a sound that matches the car's speed and throttle position.
