00:00It is my pleasure to speak to you all on the curtain riser event of Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave 2025, mainly focusing on the Space Technologies team, which aims to foster synergy among diverse stakeholders, driving collaboration to realize ambitious vision of Wixit Bharath 2047.
00:26The Gaganyan program is a very, very important program. We are working towards that and the entire roadmap enabling the entire accomplishment and the entire targets we are going to discuss and the conclave architecture is already told.
00:42There will be plenary sessions, then there will be panel discussions and in the space area there will be a keynote speech, then there will be speakers, important speakers.
00:52It is not only from ISRO, it is from academia and industry. People are going to participate and there will be a panel discussion.
00:59And you all know, our Honorable Prime Minister has clearly outlined the Space Vision 2047 and today we are having something around 56 satellites in the orbit serving the common man of this country and almost in another four years, three to four years time frame, this number of satellites, numbers are going to be increased to something around three times.
01:20And by 2027, we are going to accomplish the Gaganyan program and we are going to build our own space station called Bharath Andri station by 2035 and first module, we have got the project approval and right now the work is going on and that is going to be placed in the orbit by 2028.
01:37Those who came to Delhi, those who came to Delhi, you would have seen the only student model. It is a very, very complex and interesting job. And then we are going to build and we have to do a lot of experimentations.
01:48And then another important thing, the next generation launcher. In fact, our first launch vehicle, the capability was only 35 kg, what we successfully accomplished in the year 1980.
01:58From that, today we are talking about something around 30,000 kg to low earth orbit through the next generation launcher. Also, Honorable Prime Minister has given a guideline for building a launcher for enabling the crewed lunar mission.
02:17That has to have a capability, something around, we are in the conceiving phase, we have not completed the design and but it has to lift off something around 75,000 to 80,000 kg type of mass it has to lift off.
02:29That is the type of work what is going on. Now, I want to tell, till today something around 433 satellites of 34 countries we have accomplished.
02:38Out of that, almost 95 satellites are accomplished during the last 10 years. That means, when the entire launch program started from 1980, in 45 years, last 10 years is 95% of the powering satellite launch.
02:56That shows the exponential growth of the space sector. That is what I want to tell. Initially we were undergoing an experimentation phase, then gradually we moved to operation phase.
03:06Today we are an exponential growth. So, that is the place we are standing. And India space program, lot of new programs are there. Government has approved Chandrayaan 4.
03:15And Chandrayaan 5 program is approved LUPAX mission, a joint mission with Japan.
03:22Honorable Prime Minister recently, when he was in Japan, he announced that program. So, we are working towards that. So, there are lot of exciting missions.
03:29And next month, beginning, we are going to have the LVM3M5 vehicle going to lift off and place a CMOS03 communication satellite. So, there are lot of exciting missions in front of us.
03:44And the entire activities are carried out under the visionary leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modiji.
03:51So, you all will enjoy these three days in Delhi. It is rather a celebration of emerging science and technology and innovation conclave.
04:03Combinedly, it is going to be done by the 13 science and technology ministries under the leadership role of the science and technology ministry.
