00:00We often talk about mental health, we talk about physical health, but how often do we
00:07talk about emotional health? The truth is not nearly enough. Every day, people move
00:13through life carrying emotions they never name, hunger, fear, loneliness or even quiet
00:20sadness. They smile, they walk, they laugh, but deep inside they are struggling to hold
00:27it all together. Experts say that emotional health is the foundation of both mental and
00:34physical well-being. When people ignore their emotions, they are more likely to experience
00:40burnout, anxiety and even physical illness. Emotional awareness helps us to identify what
00:49is happening inside of us, so we can respond, not just react. Yet, in our society, emotional
00:57expression is often misunderstood. We are taught to be strong, to hold it all in or to
01:04pray it away. But strength is not in silence. True strength is understanding what you feel
01:12and finding healthy ways to deal with it. Emotional awareness starts with something simple like
01:19naming how you feel. I'm angry. I'm overwhelmed. I'm grateful. These small acknowledgments are
01:27powerful. They remind us that feelings are not weaknesses. They are signals, signs that we
01:35are human. As the world comes together to mark emotional awareness month this October, let's
01:42look beyond the surface. Let's make it normal to ask not just how are you, but how are you
01:49feeling? Let's talk about the emotions we've been told to hide. Because when we learn to
01:55understand our feelings, we learn to heal. And maybe, just maybe, the world becomes a little
02:02sense of that. One honest conversation at a time.
02:14Well, we want to spend a few more minutes to do that. Watch this RX preview.
02:22And then, if we end up telling you something more difference one—
02:34for one reason— mejor makes it one more matter.
