More than six-thousand Victorian properties are without power as damaging winds bring down trees and power lines, mainly in the state's west. The strong winds have battered western and central parts of the state with gusts of 120 kilometres an hour recorded west of Geelong. It's forced the cancellation of the Geelong cup and racegoers had to be evacuated from Marquees.
