00:21WWF Philippines, ang mission namin is to build a future where people and nature live in harmony.

00:32Issues of environment affect us all.

00:36And so many people love nature, animals, they love being outdoors.

00:42Pero pagdating sa making the connection of how your daily decisions affect the environment,

00:49medyo doon nawawala.

00:50So we feel that partnering with GMA on the B1 Tama campaign is an opportunity to amplify the messages

00:59that will help people take the right actions for the environment.

01:05I'll give you one example of where we work for a long time.

01:09Yun pong mga whale shark natin sa Don Sol, Sir Sogon.

01:13So noon, isa lang niyang fishing village na wala masyadong nangyayari.

01:19It was a sleepy town.

01:21But then we observed na every year bumabalik at bumabalik yung mga whale sharks.

01:26Seasonal yan.

01:28So that encouraged the local government and the local community to create an ecotourism program.

01:35So dahil sa information na yun about where the whale sharks were going, when they were going,

01:41they were able to set up an ecotourism program that benefited the entire community of Don Sol.

01:48So nataguri ang whale shark interaction capital of the world na sila and nakatulong talaga sa buong community

01:56ng Don Sol yung pagkakaroon ng ganong information about the whale sharks which they use to their advantage.

02:03Napakalaking bagay ang nagawa ng ecotourism, hindi lang sa buhay ko, kundi dito sa buong buso.

02:12Science man, sa nature, sa showbiz, pinipili natin ang totoo. Pinipili natin ang facts.

02:19Pinipili natin na maging pakabuluhan habang nagbibigay ng saya.

02:23Yan ang deserve ng bawat Pilipino. Dahil yan din taba.

02:25So sa akin lang is, don't lose hope. The future is not yet written and you can shape that through your decisions and actions today.
