00:14The Philippine Women's University is an educational institution founded by women in Asia as the first university.
00:22Our advocacy as a university, we develop students through a holistic curriculum that really focuses in transforming lives and inclusive education.
00:33The PWU aligns with the B1 Tama campaign.
00:37As an educational institution, we always want to develop our students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.
00:43So with the B1 Tama campaign, it's really encouraging them, supporting them in programs that will allow them to be inquisitive to ask not just the what, but also the why's and the how's.
00:57It's always good that the right and the true information is provided to our students in our community.
01:03Nowadays, it's so easy to get news as simple as no classes, and it really has to be fact-checked and verified by the university to be able to give that assistance of information to our students.
01:19So it's always a responsibility for us in the university, especially for our Campus Life office, that we make sure that whatever we spread, whatever news and information we give to the community is always true.
01:33With the PWU Campus Life office, we always spearhead activities such as master classes or programs that really encourage the students in that transformative learning environment and making sure that these students are engaged, always having fun.
01:53Like they say in B1 Tama campaign, learning should be fun and that will allow the students to always be interested and to ask more questions to continue the learning.
02:03The three Kapuso hosts, of course, Ding Dong Dantes, Chris Chu, and Tito Boya Bunda, who is of course a graduate of PWU and sits at the board of PWU.
02:13I mean, these are credible and formidable hosts that the young generations all look up to.
02:19So it really puts a weight on whatever they say, whatever they advocate for, that the young students of PWU will listen, will hear them out, and will believe them.
02:30Science man, nature, showbiz, pinipili natin ang totoo, pinipili natin ang facts.
02:37Pinipili natin na maging pakabuluhan, habang nagbibigay ng saya.
02:41Yan ang deserve ng bawat Pilipino, dahil yan din taba.
02:44A good reminder is don't believe instantly, especially when you have not fact-checked.
02:50Make sure that you are inquisitive, always be curious, so that you ask the right questions to learn.
