The US White House held a get-together with business leaders and staff to celebrate Diwali on Oct 21. President Donald Trump said he spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their conversation focused largely on trade. 00:25I just spoke to your prime minister today.

00:27We had a great conversation.

00:30We talked about trade.

00:31We talked about a lot of things, but mostly the world of trade.

00:35He's very interested in that.

00:36Although we did talk a little while ago about let's have no wars with Pakistan.

00:41And I think the fact that trade was involved, I was able to talk about that.

00:46And we have no war with Pakistan and India.

00:49And that was a very, very good thing.

00:50But he's a great person.

00:53And he's become a great friend of mine over the years.

00:56In a few moments, we'll light the Diyah as a symbol of faith in the victory of light over

01:03darkness.

01:03It's a beautiful term, light over darkness.

01:05That's what it's all about.
