Sber City’s IT chief says artificial intelligence and secure data systems are transforming urban management, allowing real-time control of buildings, transport and services in a move towards intelligent, connected living.
00:00Asper City develops a digital infrastructure designed as a thinking ecosystem
00:05using real-time data and artificial intelligence to manage its building, transport and services.
00:11For a closer look at the story, here's Amiral Aiman with the details.
00:17Smart cities are no longer futuristic ideas.
00:20They are becoming living, connected systems powered by data, cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence
00:27at the heart of the transformation is Asper City, an innovation ecosystem built by Russia's Asper Group
00:35that integrates AI, finance and digital services into a single urban platform.
00:41To understand how technology is turning this concept into a functioning digital city
00:46and what it takes to make intelligence part of everyday infrastructure,
00:50we are here joined by Evgeny Chippakov, Head of IT Services at Asper City.
00:55Sir, thank you so much for joining us.
00:57Asper City is described as a fully connected digital system, digital ecosystem.
01:02From your perspective, how do you turn that idea into reality
01:06and how does IT architecture actually enable the city to think and respond in real time?
01:13First of all, we started from scratch
01:16and actually we designed our project in different fields
01:23and IT is one of the main parts of it.
01:26We made IT architecture for our services and we developed some of services are located in our territory,
01:37some of them are placed in like Amazon cloud infrastructure and it makes them more stable.
01:47And we developed such technologies like controlling and management system for all our buildings,
01:55for all our engineer systems.
01:57And every smart city relies on data to function, but data also raises questions of trust and governance.
02:04How do you design systems that collect and analyze massive amounts of information while keeping citizens' data private and also secure?
02:13First of all, first of all, first of all, we separate citizens' information and data and our engineering systems' data.
02:23It's different in physical layer, first of all.
02:28Then we use a lot of cyber security practices and we design our systems with all these requirements like some laws and some checklists
02:42and a lot of software and equipment for this field.
02:47And when so many services from payments to public transport depend on digital networks, reliability becomes critical as well.
02:56What have been the biggest lesson in keeping such a large ecosystem stable and also resilient as its skills?
03:03The main lesson is do what people need, use experience from other areas, I think, and make all these services like for yourself.
03:26And then you will provide the best service, I think so.
03:31And then looking ahead, how do you see S-Bare City evolving?
03:34What new technologies or collaborations could push your IT framework toward a smarter, more predictive model of urban management?
03:43AI is first of all AI and it may be used in different fields like smart cars, smart systems,
03:56analyzing and predicting some events or, I don't know, behavior of our systems.
04:08I think it's the main integrations.
04:11Thank you so much for your insights.
04:13From what we've seen, S-Bare City isn't just experimenting with technology, it's redefining how cities manage data, deliver services and connect or interact with people.
04:25As digital ecosystems become the backbone of modern economies, the real challenge will be ensuring that progress remains secure, inclusive and human-centered.

04:43And then looking at S-Bare City is providing an economic resource for arts and family knowing that survivors can survive.
