00:00At the beginning of the story, we are introduced to a company called Wifelike,

00:03which used to create android wives. Whoever bought these android wives could have them do

00:08all kinds of tasks based on their personal preferences, like cooking meals and fulfilling

00:12physical needs. The android wives were programmed to follow instructions exactly as they were

00:17designed. They looked very realistic. If someone uploaded the memories of their deceased wife into

00:22one of these androids, the android would behave just like her. Because of this, thousands of

00:27people started using these android wives. Their behavior was so human-like that some organizations

00:32believed they should be given the same rights as humans. At the same time, there were other

00:36organizations that would kidnap these androids and set them free. One of these was known as the

00:41Scare Organization. Wifelike had hired recovery agents whose job was to bring back the androids

00:46that had been taken. William was one of those agents and had successfully recovered many androids.

00:51Pleased with his work, the CEO of Wifelike Marion told him not to worry about his late wife,

00:56because the company had created a new android for him. This android had all the memories of his

01:01deceased wife and would love him just like his real wife, Meredith. William brought the new Meredith

01:06home and activated her while she was wearing his wife's old clothes. The android acted a bit awkward

01:12at first, referring to herself as Meredith instead of saying I. William guided her on how to wake up,

01:18walk, and breathe. He believed that, with time, Meredith would learn everything and act exactly like

01:23his real wife, so no one would know she was an android. At night, they prepared to start an

01:28intimate relationship. Meredith was ready to make love, but William felt uncomfortable,

01:33even after arranging everything for intimacy. Sensing his discomfort, Meredith handled the

01:38situation and comforted William so they could still enjoy the night together. William wanted to spend the

01:44entire night with her, but Meredith had to go to another room to recharge. There she found a hairbrush

01:49and an old diary that had belonged to the real Meredith. After a while, she looked out the window

01:54and saw something strange among the trees in the garden. She couldn't quite understand what it was,

01:59but didn't think much of it. The next morning, while she was making breakfast for William,

02:04the news was playing on TV, showing people protesting. Seeing this, Meredith asked William what he did for

02:10a living. He told her that he was an agent who worked to keep people safe. After that, William left for

02:15the office. At home, Meredith wore old clothes and applied makeup. Meanwhile, at the company,

02:20William was discussing the latest android kidnapping with his partner Jack. He was also checking for

02:25updates on the ringmaster, the leader of the scare organization. After a lot of investigation,

02:30they found the location where the kidnapped androids were being kept. William was given the

02:34task of going there and bringing the androids back to the company. When he arrived, he saw an android

02:39trying to escape with a shock collar around his neck. William caught the android by shocking him and

02:44asked how many more people were inside. Then, he entered the house. In the first room, he saw a criminal

02:50practicing boxing. He quickly defeated him and moved on to the second room, which was a lab. There, he found

02:56another android being reprogrammed to be set free. Meanwhile, a criminal arrives at the location and points

03:02a gun at an android. When the criminal refuses to back off despite William's warning, William shoots him.

03:07At home, Meredith is lying on her bed to recharge. While charging, her dream mode gets activated. In

03:14her dream, she meets an avatar named Ido, who is there to guide her. In the first dream, Ido shows

03:19her a birthday party. William welcomes Meredith to the party. Then, another android wife named Liddy

03:25invites her to dance. After a short while, Liddy sends her to meet a masked man. Meredith asks,

03:31who are you? But instead of answering, the masked man gives her a card with a red bird on it

03:35and tells her it will help her remember everything. Before she can ask him anything else,

03:40the masked man leaves. Meanwhile, William safely brings the kidnapped android wives back to the

03:45company, where they are scheduled to be reprogrammed. In the company's waiting room,

03:49two androids named Oli and Liddy are making rude gestures. William finds out that Oli and Liddy are

03:54not following their programming properly and have been rebelling against their husbands, which is why

03:59they keep getting reset repeatedly. The next morning, Meredith asks Ido about the masked man

04:04and asks him to make a list of her old hobbies. He gives her a list, but she is surprised that

04:09sewing is not included, even though she has felt the urge to sew since waking up. Ido then installs

04:15the sewing file into her memory. After coming out of dream mode, Meredith starts sewing the red bird

04:20she saw in her dream onto a pillow. A little later, she goes out for a bike ride. While riding,

04:25she sees a girl named Lucy standing in the middle of the road. In her hurry to avoid hitting Lucy,

04:29she falls into some bushes. Lucy tells her that she doesn't have much time and must remember

04:34everything quickly. Then Lucy walks away. When Meredith returns home, she tells William about

04:39what happened. While brushing dirt off her clothes, William tells her not to pay attention to Lucy's

04:44words, explaining that some people hate androids because they believe androids are stealing their

04:49husbands. Later Meredith visits a park that was William's real wife's favorite place. While

04:54experiencing the joyful memories there, she imagines herself as Meredith for the first time and refers to

04:59I instead of Meredith. This means she has started to understand her identity. She shows William the

05:05pillow she made by hand. William says it's very well made, but his expression clearly shows he
