00:00Search teams had been looking for Troy Milne for nine days.
00:06Overnight, the good news everyone had been hoping for.
00:09It was really good to know, you know, knowing these cases and how they can turn out
00:14and how some of them have turned out in East Gippsland over the last four or five years,
00:18that we were going into somebody, you know, who was alive and, you know,
00:23that had been found in considering the situation, remarkably good condition.
00:27Just some dehydration and obviously suffering effects of his medical condition,
00:34which was diabetes, which we believe led him to be confused and disoriented.
00:39Mr Milne became lost after leaving his campsite at Woodside Beach to buy supplies.
00:44He was captured on CCTV.
00:47According to police, the 61-year-old's car later became stuck on an unmarked track,
00:52leaving him stranded for days.
00:55But he formulated a clever plan.
00:58He sighted an aircraft going overhead two days in a row,
01:02so Troy lit a fire to bring attention to himself.
01:06Eventually, he was located with his car near Buchan,
01:10more than two hours away from his campsite.
01:12Mr Milne is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
01:15This is an important point.
01:16He indicates the treatment of his car is on a number of women.
01:18He was able to flee with a care at home,
01:19but the significant event is on a number of women.
01:20He was able to rescue the treatment in hospital.
01:21He chose a new treatment in hospital.
