00:00Matt Stine. I call him the Larry Bird of the media. I wonder what. Very good. He's white, but he can ball. He can ball. He's like slow, can't jump, but man, you can't stop him.
00:12Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:16Crossover time.
00:47Yeah, I mean, he's not so like.
00:51I'm mad that you guys have my guy now. You know, Chris and I hosted together for two years at Fox.
00:56You got to be kidding me.
00:57You know that?
00:57I know you and Marcellus Wiley.
00:59Well, I was at ESPN.
01:01But you and Bruce Arna dudes. I love his show.
01:04When you work at Fox Sports Radio, you end up co-hosting with everybody.
01:08Joy Taylor?
01:09Joy Taylor.
01:10Come on, Will.
01:11Right when she moved here, I was her first co-host. Like, all of them.
01:15Why did that put me in a good mood?
01:17Buddy Books.
01:19Come on.
01:19Ifim Salaam.
01:20Who else over at Fox?
01:22Come on, Will.
01:23Noey.
01:24TJ Houshmanzali.
01:25Noey.
01:26That's how we.
01:27Who?
01:27Noey.
01:28Brian Noe.
01:28No.
01:29Brian Noe.
01:29Brian Noe.
01:30Yeah, we hosted together.
01:31He don't like me.
01:33What about.
01:33He don't like Will.
01:35Yeah, Brian.
01:35We're not going to host anymore together.
01:36Who's the older guy?
01:37Steve Hartman?
01:40No.
01:40He's got a, like, kind of a New York accent.
01:43He's talking about Victor Brick?
01:45No.
01:46Victor Brick.
01:46I think it was a gambling show.
01:49What are you talking about?
01:50Who's the, they're, give me some of the weekend hosts.
01:53Oh, God.
01:54I mean, there's so many, but is it a gambling guy?
01:57I thought he was, no.
01:59Berman comes on.
01:59How would you remember him?
02:01Look at him.
02:01It sounds like him.
02:02I can't.
02:04Artie.
02:04Oh, Arnie Spanier?
02:05Arnie Spanier.
02:07All the time.
02:07Okay.
02:08That's what I was thinking.
02:09Arnie, Arnie, Arnie, Arnie teaches out in Maine.
02:11He lives in Maine now.
02:12Maine.
02:12Or is it New Hampshire?
02:14Vermont.
02:14It's Vermont.
02:15Arnie Spanier.
02:15Shout out to New York.
02:16It's Vermont, but he's moving to Maine.
02:18So he's got his, yeah, he was just texting me a week ago.
02:22I love Arnie.
02:22Willard is not flexing.
02:24We asked a question about flexing.
02:25No, I mean, these are my friends.
02:27Yeah.
02:27Like, okay, if it's a flex.
02:29Like, that's my other job.
02:33Yeah.
02:34That's my other job.
02:35Yeah, so that didn't put you in a bad mood that he caused.
02:37I hated it.
02:38The media Larry Bird.
02:39I mean, it didn't bother me.
02:40It's one man's opinion.
02:41And if you want to think about Larry Bird, and it's flattering because Stiney, he loves
02:46Larry Bird.
02:46It's probably his number one all-time favorite athlete.
02:49Number two behind Rocky Colavito.
02:53Friendly family.
02:54Yeah, rest in peace.
02:55So those two would be on his Mount Rushmore, and I don't think that there's a third.
02:59So, yeah, it's very praiseworthy, but, and I never saw Matt Steinmetz play.
03:04Me neither.
03:05I've met probably 25 or 30 people who vouch for his game, and I don't think any of them
03:11would say, yeah, Larry Bird.
03:14Like, he is, I mean, a unique player at 5'11", and able to score at all three levels, and
03:20more of a true point guard, and 5'10"?
03:24No, no, I'm just looking at his face.
03:26A 5'10", probably now.
03:27I'm just looking at his face.
03:28A 6'4", he talks about in college.
03:30But I don't think that you were a Larry Bird type player who, Larry was 6'8", 6'9", and
03:37could post you up, could distribute, could rebound, could shoot the three, he could do
03:42everything.
03:43You strike me more as, like, a classic point guard who can also fill it up.
03:48Well, Dan, that's very astute.
03:51That is astute.
03:52Well, it's based on 20 to 25 people that you and I both know, from James Daly to, you
03:58know, many other people who saw you, maybe not at the peak of your college career, but
04:03in your post-college, I-still-want-to-play-a-lot career.
04:07Yeah, so, obviously, I was a point guard, and Larry Bird was a power forward.
04:11Right, right.
04:11So, there's a lot that just didn't apply to me.
04:16But there were bigger things like left-hand, head fakes, how to play smart, how to get
04:23guys off their feet, how to anticipate a play, how to hit the, all that kind of stuff.
04:31Yeah.
04:32Was definitely stuff that, like, because of him.
04:36All right.
04:37Mark Price.
04:38He was way, way quicker than I was.
04:41Mark was a bad dude.
04:42He was way quicker, and he shot it better than, comparatively, I shot it on Georgia Tech.
04:46Yeah, these are NBA players.
04:48I would assume they're better.
04:49Well, no, but he means as a comp.
04:51He means as a comp.
04:52I understand.
04:53I understand.
04:53But then, when you're like, he's way quicker than me, like, well, yeah.
04:56No, but I mean.
04:56He was in the NBA.
04:58But I mean, in my Division III world, I was not quicker than most of the guys on the court
05:04like he was.
05:05What about Del Nego?
05:06Vinny Del Nego.
05:07John Sonvold.
05:08That's not a bad name.
05:09He's a much better shooter than I was.
05:11What about Vinny?
05:12Who?
05:13Del Nego.
05:14Vinny.
05:14He's a little different.
05:15He was more of a two-guard.
05:17He didn't handle it a lot.
05:18He couldn't create.
05:18Sam Cassell.
05:19That's the guy that, if somebody says who's the guy, I would say him.
05:24Wow, come on, Sam.
05:25Sam Cassell.
05:26I love that you were offended a little bit by the Vinny Del Nego.
05:29You kind of spit on that one.
05:31Vinny's not as good as me.
05:32Chris Corchiani?
05:34That one is these days.
05:35Guys were in that same series.
05:38I scored.
05:38Fire and ice.
05:39I scored, man.
05:40I was more like John Crotty.
05:42I'm John Crotty.
05:43Although he was left-handed.
05:45This is so good.
05:46Wow.
05:46I'm just trying to come up with other mid-80s, early-90s white guys to maybe get you mad.
05:53Honestly, the reason I'll shoot down Del Negro is because he was a bench player.
05:57Like, he was a sub.
05:58He didn't start.
05:59No starting point guard.
06:01I remember him, though.
06:02He helped.
06:03Scoffed at Vinny Del Nego.
06:04Yeah, he didn't like that.
06:05Steve Blake, but he probably was a little bit of a better shooter than you and not as good
06:10of a passer.
06:11See?
06:12Well, first, I think I'm a better shooter than Blake, relatively, but he defended.
06:17Okay.
06:17Like, he could defend.
06:18Okay.
06:19I never could defend like that.
06:21I'm just thinking about ACC white guys from the 80s and 90s.
06:24Monty Tau.
06:25Yeah.
06:26It's 1974.
06:27Jermaine Nelson.
06:30That's not bad.
06:31Lucas gave that one to me.
06:33That's not bad.
06:34I got him.
06:35He's a little more of a scorer than I was.
06:38I look at him.
06:39That's not bad.
06:40I like his casale.
06:41And Warren McQueen.
06:43I played him up close.
06:45We all know, we all know Q, you know, local guy.
06:49He's, he's on another level.
06:51Yep.
06:51All right, Willard, I got to get back to you real quick.
06:53I left off the big, Cowherd.
06:56Have you done the radio with him?
06:58We didn't partner.
07:00Okay.
07:00I did his show.
07:01All right.
07:01But, all right.
07:02I just had to ask.
07:03Yeah.
07:03Yeah.
07:04Damn.
07:05For about three years, for about three years, I was the, I was calling Cowherd on Black Friday.
07:12Wow.
07:13That was the only time of the year they would let me host that show.
07:16You had to be that deep into the holidays.
07:18But, no, I, I, I got to know Cowherd pretty good.
07:21Yeah.
07:22Yeah.
07:22Colin's a good dude.
07:24I hate to, I hate to do this.
07:26I swear we can go off of it.
07:27What?
07:28The names appeared.
07:29Okay.
07:29And I, uh-oh, I've thought it many times.
07:33Scott Skiles.
07:34Oh, he was mad.
07:35That's his.
07:35It's funny because I.
07:36So many.
07:37At my, uh, piddly level, I fancied myself as that.
07:42I don't think you have the feist to be Scott Skiles.
07:45You never saw me play in college.
07:46How many fights you been in, in your life?
07:48Oh, zero.
07:49You can't be Scott Skiles.
07:50Well, I mean.
07:51You cannot be Scott Skiles.
07:53If you were a coach.
07:54He's a different level of feisty.
07:55There's no doubt.
07:56But if you were a coach.
07:57Just don't question my toughness.
07:59Would you coach like him, though?
08:00Because he looks like.
08:01He kind of goes like.
08:02He looks like a mean little rat.
08:03Like, you know what I mean?
08:04But he played hard like you did against Lowe at the disgrace.
08:06No doubt, bro.
08:07I called you the Danny Ainge.
08:09Like, I saw it.
08:10Junkyard dog kind of a.
08:12Here's how I know.
08:13Here's how I know why I never coached.
08:16Is because I would want to be a coach who was, like, completely understated.
08:21Like, I'd want to be a Phil Jackson or a John Wooden.
08:24A guy like that.
08:25Just tie your hands behind your back and walk low.
08:26Well, no.
08:27Just, just, just not get excited.
08:31So you ain't Popovich.
08:31That, that wouldn't be your style of Popovich.
08:34No, but what I'm saying is I couldn't do it like that.
08:36Like, I, I'd burn out.
08:38I'd make a fool of myself in the sidelines.
08:40I'd go watch the tape and I'd be like, what am I doing?
08:42I'd be like Danny Hurley.
08:44I'd be apologizing every three days for something obnoxious.
08:47And how many times has he cut down the nets?
08:50Danny Hurley.
08:52How many?
08:52Three?
08:53I think so.
08:53Yeah.
08:53So, I mean, the man has stock and scissors.
08:57So you can call him a horse's ass, but all they do is win the chip.
09:00He'll cut you.
09:01The natty.
09:01I'm not saying I could have won a national.
09:03I'm saying I would have probably had his demeanor.
09:06And I don't like, I don't want to be Danny Hurley.
09:11I'd rather be somebody a little more stage.
09:14You have to be you.
09:15And I look, I look back at my, my high school coaching career, which now, uh, 25 years removed
09:21from my school at Drake in Marin.
09:23And I won three straight North coast section championships.
09:26And I was largely a horse's ass, but it worked like I, I look back at the way I acted then
09:33in my thirties.
09:34And now to your point, Stiney, if I was to coach again in high school and I just did it, O'Dowd,
09:39I was totally different because you know, now you're, you're in your sixties and I'm
09:44in my late fifties and you, you can't be the same type of person.
09:48And it makes me think about the NFL and some of these coaches who, you know, burn through
09:52their teams and you know, Kyle Shanahan, whatever you think about his, his, and he's nine years
09:57in and he is, he's kind of an old soul.
10:00He doesn't really like get after it.
10:02He's not too demonstrative.
10:04He'll get mad.
10:05And it's fun when you like, you watch the Niners and there's either a false start or there's
10:10a delay game or something.
10:11And they cut to Kyle and he's like, these mother jumpers.
10:15And he's just so mad.
10:16We talked about it.
10:17Exactly.
10:18Don't you know, you're supposed to be on the right hand side in the slot and all that,
10:21but he doesn't really get all full McVay.
10:24He doesn't go all Sirianni on you.
10:26He's much more like Stiney's talking about as a more demure leader.
10:30Before we get to the, what's bugging you, uh, George Kittle's coming back and I know
10:35football is a game of nuance, but am I wrong?
10:38Because if this doesn't manifest, I'm not mad at him.
10:42But as far as the Niner run game, let's just say they're averaging 2.7.
10:464.7 yards per carry.
10:48Why do I think that could go up to 4.1 with Kittle coming back?
10:53And I don't think I'm by myself, but is that asking too much or that's one of the things
10:58I'm looking at to see if the run game improves with him coming back?
11:01It better, number one.
11:03But number two, yeah, it could.
11:05He's that good.
11:06Not?
11:06And we were talking about this earlier.
11:08Um, gosh, I wish there were a stat somehow.
11:13Not QBR because we, no, no, no, no, no, no.
11:14I wish that there was in the age of analytics to, to measure the unmeasurable.
11:20Do you know what I mean?
11:22And I, I know PFF tries to do this, but none of us know.
11:26People are throwing eggs at PFF these days now.
11:28PFF is just like what you use if it says what you want it to say, and then you ignore it.
11:33Oh, man.
11:34If it doesn't, because none of us know what the hell they're doing.
11:37They just, we just, you watch the game and then someone sticks a number on them.
11:41I have no idea how the hell you got to that number.
11:43But supposedly it's telling me how, how guys are blocking or whatever.
11:46I, I think George Kittle, we were looking this up earlier, if, if he comes back and
11:52snap fingers Niners average over four yards a carry, can I launch into a conversation
11:59immediately on that day as to where George sits all time in terms of the tight ends?
12:07I know he's got half as much yardage as Tony Gonzalez, but he's number 14 on the whole list.
12:14And I, and I have long argued that he is the best tight end of this era.
12:19Save it with Travis Kelsey, who's a wide receiver with a bigger number.
12:23But like, if this, if this is a snap your finger and they just start running the ball.
12:31I don't know that.
12:33Cause I used to hate that part.
12:34He's a great blocking tight end.
12:36I tell Stan, I hate that.
12:37I don't know why I hate it, but man, if go ahead, Stan.
12:39You're listening to 95 seven, the game KGMZ FM and HD one, San Francisco and Odyssey
12:44sports station in the home of the warriors and Valkyries live on the free Odyssey app
12:48coming to you live from the laughing monk studios, laughing monk, righteously brewed
12:52in San Francisco.
12:54I'm going to pass along some news.
12:57George Kittle officially in Mac Jones will start.
13:01Brock Purdy is out.
13:03That is for Sunday's game, but Kittle will play and no pitch count.
13:07According to Kyle Shanahan, drywood termites.
13:12Let me tell you something.
13:13They don't live in soil.
13:14They live in your walls, furniture and flooring.
13:17They stay hidden, chewing wood from the inside out, often for years before you even notice.
13:23Atco Pest Control finds them where they hide, removes the infestation and puts prevention
13:28in place.
13:29Stop the silent damage.
13:30Visit atcopestcontrol.com today.
13:33Atco Pest Control, real protection for hidden threats.
13:36And mention you heard about Atco on What's Bugging You and get 10% off any dry termite
13:42treatment this month.
13:44Can I add, Ricky Pearsall will officially be out.
13:47You sure can.
13:48And rookie linebacker Nick Martin will be active for the first time.
13:51Man, let's see.
13:52In his career.
13:53Let's see.
13:53Yeah.
13:54There you go.
13:54And just the one piece about Brock Purdy is once you activate Brock Purdy, then Adrian
14:01Martinez is no longer on your team.
14:03So when you activate Brock Purdy, it will be for him to be the starter.
14:07And then Mac Jones goes to the backup because Martinez is out of the up-down.
14:12He can't go back to the practice squad.
14:14He's already been reactivated as many times as he can.
14:17But I thought there was a new rule after what happened to the Niners against the Eagles at
14:20that court.
14:21On game day, you could have that third quarterback.
14:24They could keep him as an active third member, but no team wants to do that.
14:28So if you get Brock Purdy back and you want him to play, then you get Mac who goes to QB2
14:34and then Adrian.
14:35And Mac gets hurt.
14:36Right.
14:36Then you go to, I mean, Mac gets hurt.
14:38But if Adrian Martinez goes back to the inactive, then he is no longer activatable on that team.
14:45I think they would have to do this.
14:46Okay, there's some rule off that thing.
14:48No, like if Brock is QB2, I think Martinez is gone.
14:51Like, gone, gone.
14:53All righty.
14:55Real quick, get the drop ready.
14:57Get the drip ready.
14:58You know who texted in and said Scott Skiles?
15:02I don't.
15:03Scooter Barry.
15:04Wow, Scoot.
15:05Thanks, Scooter.
15:06I appreciate you, buddy.
15:07One of the Barry's sons, Dibs.
15:10Is that what's bugging you?
15:11No.
15:12Because it's automatically what's bugging me.
15:14Yeah, go start, Dibs.
15:15I mean, that's not.
15:16Scooter.
15:17Scooter.
15:18Right.
15:19Say hello to Pop.
15:20See, now he's mad.
15:21Now he's a little jealous.
15:22I'm not mad.
15:23Not mad nor jealous.
15:25I would never try to put my basketball knowledge into your sphere.
15:31You could.
15:32But I would never.
15:33What's bugging me is the burden of proof in our society.
15:39And I'm sure you guys know that I had a couple of pothole incidents this week.
15:44Yes, sir.
15:44Not one, but two.
15:45And yeah, you hit a pothole, you get a flat.
15:48And it's not my fault.
15:50Shout out John Feliciano, the Not Our Fault podcast.
15:52And so now for me to get what is rightfully coming to me, because your roads are patently
15:59unsafe, now I have to fill out two forms, submit eight photos, a receipt, and on and
16:06on and on and wait six to eight weeks just to get what, honestly, I have coming to me.
16:11We're all taxpayers.
16:12You pay your taxes.
16:13And part of that is to get the basic fulfillment of your needs, which is if I drive on a road,
16:20it should be safe enough.
16:22And if a car hits me, fine.
16:24That's an accident.
16:25And if I run a red light and get in an accident, that's my fault.
16:28But if I'm just driving and I go over a pothole that is, I don't know, six feet wide by three
16:36feet deep, that's a you problem, but I have to go through all of the hoops to get my money
16:42back.
16:43A point of clarification, if I may.
16:46You know what that would be?
16:47Yes.
16:48Say it.
16:49Now, didn't you get your tire changed?
16:52Correct.
16:53By Caltrans?
16:54Yes.
16:55Well, that was the spare.
16:57So they put the spare on, and then you go to the dealer.
16:59Shout out Walnut Creek Honda.
17:00He did half the job.
17:02Walnut Creek Honda is amazing.
17:03So you get two new tires, and they put the new ones on the back.
17:07So they take the two old, and they put the two old on the front.
17:11And then you drive again.
17:12I'm familiar.
17:13Second pothole, kapow.
17:14And you go back to Walnut Creek Honda, and you're like, yeah, this is my tire.
17:18It's 11 miles old.
17:20They're like, ooh, no.
17:21That's the old one.
17:22And they need to be replaced anyway.
17:25At the risk of poking the bear.
17:27Poke it.
17:28Are you expecting them to just give you the money without showing them what happened?
17:32Who?
17:32It sounds to me like you have to show them what happened.
17:35You have to give them the receipt.
17:37My problem, Mark, is that.
17:38I don't know what's wrong with that.
17:40That's what I would have expected.
17:43You know what's wrong?
17:43What's wrong?
17:44Is that if you, and you probably haven't driven in Oakland in 31 years.
17:48I drive over to the airport all the time.
17:51That's on the freeway.
17:52That's not in Oakland.
17:53It's also off the freeway.
17:54The freeway is mostly not Oakland city streets.
17:59And Oakland is in a spot where they don't maintain their roads.
18:02And so when you drive through Oakland and you're like constantly doing like the slalom,
18:07you're doing your Lindsey Vonn.
18:09And I know she was a downhill skier, but you get the point, you get the reference.
18:12And, you know, as you're trying to bob and weave and you catch one, boom, that's, yeah,
18:17it's on them, but you have to go through the process.
18:21I just, I guess.
18:22I don't think you get it.
18:23No, I do.
18:23I don't understand.
18:24Don't you get it?
18:24Are you expecting to walk into city hall and just have them take your word for it?
18:28Mark, what I'm expecting is for a society such as ours to present.
18:34I shouldn't have poked a bear.
18:35You're not.
18:36You're not poking at all.
18:37And I'm actually not that bothered by it because I will get my money back and I'll jump through
18:40the hoops accordingly.
18:41But what bothers me is that the conditions in a city like Oakland have deteriorated to
18:48the point where they don't give a crap.
18:50They don't give a crap about a lot of things, including their road surfaces.
18:54So, and yet.
18:56That's all the way down to the unit.
18:57Exactly.
18:58Come on into Oakland and, you know, come to our restaurants.
19:01Well, I'd rather not.
19:02Stiney's car has been broken into 11 times and the roadways are completely unsafe and on
19:07and on and on.
19:07Anyway, that's what's bugging me.
19:08Is it 11?
19:10More like six.
19:10Okay.
19:11What's bugging me?
19:14Electronic tickets.
19:16You got one?
19:17Yeah, I'm going with it.
19:18No, no, no.
19:18The Ticketmaster.
19:20Oh.
19:21Electronic.
19:22Oh, I thought you got a new ticket.
19:24Yeah, I thought you just got a QR code that was like, you've been quite speeding.
19:28No, this is.
19:29He never speeds.
19:30When going to a sporting event turns stressful before it's ever started.
19:36So, got offered tickets to the Warriors and a person said.
19:40And, yeah, you know, you got an email that there's no tickets, right?
19:46I'll email them to you.
19:48Okay.
19:49Actually, can you text them?
19:51No, I can't actually.
19:52I've got an email.
19:53Why?
19:54Well, because my phone email is not connected to my computer email.
19:59Truth.
19:59And it's for a reason.
20:00I don't want to be looking at my work email all the time, right?
20:04So, there's no connection there.
20:05So, I can't get it on my phone.
20:07So, I got to get it from my email.
20:11Send it to a third party.
20:13Have them do it.
20:14But, I've also found that I get really nervous when I have the thing and it's on there and
20:22then next thing you know, you shut the window and now you're up there right through security
20:26and you can't get, you can't find your ticket.
20:29You got to put it in the wallet.
20:31Yep.
20:31That's my best friend.
20:33As soon as you get it, you got to put it in the wallet.
20:35That's your best friend.
20:37And, by the way, there's something wrong with my wallet.
20:39There's something wrong with my wallet.
20:41Do you have some email on your phone?
20:43Like a personal email?
20:44No.
20:45No email.
20:45Come on, Stiney.
20:47Okay, because that's what I was like.
20:48If it goes to an email that you don't have access to on your phone, just forward the email
20:52to the email that you do have access to on your phone.
20:55How are you living with no email on your phone?
20:58Not really, no.
20:59Wow.
21:00Wow.
21:00I bet you I could get some email.
21:02You're operating in the 1990s.
21:05Dude, it's 2024.
21:07So, I have an email that I get emailed.
21:10It's like 99% spam.
21:12Yeah.
21:13So, that's...
21:14I don't want to see that.
21:15Like a work email is not on your phone?
21:17No.
21:17No chance.
21:18Oh, me either.
21:19It's on my phone.
21:19No?
21:20No.
21:21No, no, no, no, no.
21:21I don't want work email on my personal phone.
21:25Like, my work email is open in the morning, during the show, and after.
21:31Oh, I get blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
21:33Yeah, no, thank you.
21:34I know.
21:34I need to talk to you.
21:36Our work email is 99% spam and PR people who are like, would you guys like to have a
21:42guest from the world of politics?
21:43I'm like, no.
21:44That and Gianna Fernandez with the potluck next week.
21:48Those are not spam.
21:49Nice to know.
21:50Anyway, what's wrong with your wallet?
21:51Why can't you put something in the world?
21:52I'm figuring it out.
21:53Goo?
21:54I'm running way behind, and I'm not having it.
21:57I just showed him Apple Pay.
21:58You got it.
21:59I got it.
21:59No, Goo stays till the end, because Goo's the best one.
22:02Stop.
22:03No, what's bugging me is Halloween costumes for men.
22:09This is very, very stressful, and I want the world to understand this.
22:13They shouldn't wear them.
22:14Well, exactly.
22:15But when you have a costume party, and you'd like to go, and your lovely would like to
22:20go, then you have to go, and I just want the world, can we have an open conversation?
22:25When there's a man in a costume, he doesn't want to be in the costume, and he doesn't look
22:30good in the costume.
22:32Women, you look good in the costume, and you guys get to, right?
22:36You get to turn Halloween into, now I'm going to dress like I've always wanted to dress,
22:40but I can't dress because society won't let me dress, but I can tonight, while we just
22:44have to stand next to you and look stupid, and in fact, you might even meet someone for
22:50the first time, and then you'll never know the next time you see them if you met them
22:54because they were in a costume, and I cannot recognize them.
22:56Had that happen, too?
22:58It's just, even my son, all the way down, he's 11 years old, he's going to a Halloween
23:02party tonight.
23:03He does not want to get dressed, so he is going as himself to the party tonight.
23:08Wow, I'm mad at him.
23:09And have you ever tried, like, shop for Halloween costumes and find something?
23:14The only play we have is to try to make you laugh.
23:17That's the only play we've got, is to try to make you laugh, and that essentially means
23:23we just spend the whole night making a complete mockery of ourselves so that we can go get
23:29some hummus and a drink at the party.
23:32Look at him.
23:33Anyway, it's very stressful, Halloween.
23:35But what will you be tonight?
23:36Well, tonight I won't be anything.
23:37It's his party.
23:38Okay, I got you.
23:39I'm good.
23:39Yeah.
23:39Tonight I will be the right home.
23:41That's what I'm going as tonight.
23:43Anyway, on to you.
23:44All right.
23:44I'm going to blow a gasket, but I'm trying not to, and it's Cowboy-affiliated.
23:49Trayvon Diggs got the bag a couple years ago, cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys.
23:53Tore his cartilage, tore his ACL in 2023.
23:57Came back last year.
23:58Tore cartilage in the same knee dibs in 2024.
24:01And he's come back.
24:03Matt Eberflus is the new defensive coordinator, and they are an embarrassment.
24:07One of the worst defenses through six games ever in the NFL.
24:11The worst this year.
24:12Yeah, okay.
24:13And Trayvon, brother of Stefan, says we need to, and I'm with him, we need to play more man.
24:18Just saying it out loud.
24:19Went on a tour.
24:20We need to play more man.
24:21He's getting burnt left and right, making Russell Wilson look okay.
24:24Now, you're a pro athlete, and I understand privacy is in the HIPAA laws, but this weekend,
24:30the season is on the line.
24:32They're taking on the commanders and Jaden Daniels, and this week, he's been barking,
24:36let's play man, and they said, we're going to play some more man.
24:39And I get this on my phone this morning.
24:42Trayvon Diggs, out for this Sunday's game, suffered mysterious concussion at home.
24:49At home.
24:50You don't get to play that cart.
24:51You need to tell us what happened at the house as to how you got a concussion to just,
24:57I think he's got Jaden Danielitis, or if they gave you what you wanted, more man,
25:02and you don't feel like you can do it, but to hide behind, who gets a concussion at the crib
25:08is what's bothering me.
25:10Tell us you slipped.
25:12Say something.
25:13I'd be willing to bet most concussions happen at home.
25:18But say what happened.
25:19I'm just saying.
25:19The pitchers didn't do their hands.
25:21You know, I was cutting something, a lemon in the kitchen.
25:24I get that.
25:25Well, you wouldn't get a concussion from that.
25:26No, but they sliced their hand.
25:27I can't go.
25:28Jeremy Affleck.
25:28But to hide behind concussion at home and not tell the world what it was?
25:33Nah.
25:34You don't get that card.
25:36Tell it, make something up.
25:38But to say mysterious.
25:39Dude, that's embarrassing and weak to me.
25:42You got Jaden Daniels-itis.
25:46Grandy apparently has something to say.
25:48Yeah, really quick.
25:49Sonny, I know you already did your what's bugging you, but I have another one for you.
25:52Matt has to see you after when you get off the air.
25:54Oh, wow.
25:56Look at the moon.
25:57And he'll see him within the confines.
26:00Wow.
26:01Of 95.7.
26:02The game.
26:03Not liking it late.
26:04No more weak as that goes.
