00:00Wow. Yeah, I'm on that short list. It's a very, very short list. I feel great. As you see the

00:06episodes develop, I think you start seeing the chemistry. So I'm thrilled that he's feeling it

00:12too. And it should be wonderful to meet him, to have him meet my family, my three daughters,

00:18my two son-in-laws, and to see how he can behave in Texas. I'm a little hesitant. I'm not hesitant

00:25for Mel to meet my kids. I'm excited. He's going to do great with them. They will do great with him.

00:32It's just a tough crowd. And Mel better bring his A-game. Because right now, we seem to be

00:38competing for him. But he's going to have to bring it to show he's worthy to be part of our family,

00:44his special group. He knows the names of my kids. And he kind of knows what they do. And he knows

00:48that we have a close relationship. And after that, he's on his own. It's time to swim or sink.

00:56And I believe in Mel. He's got great chemistry. He makes everybody feel super important in his

01:02presence. It's one of his gifts. So I know if he just is true to himself, it'll go great.

01:07That's a great question. Mel has been really hesitant to open up to many of us. I think it's

01:15time for him to break open and see if he can bring it all. We know he can bring a lot. But can he

01:22bring it all? Nicole had a chance to tell me that as well at the photo shoot. She looked at me and she

01:27said, stop trying to have Mel fall in love with you. Make America fall in love with you. So I'd heard

01:32that from her. But I also know Nicole. We were early friends and we are good friends. So I know

01:39she is kindhearted. And, you know, her motives may not be the same as mine. I came in to see if Mel

01:46and I were a match. And ironically, Nicole has a great connection with him. So she took another path

01:54and she ended up not in the final tree. But she will always be in my heart. I love so many women on

02:01the show for sure. But I think Carol and I are the most alike. And it was really hard knowing that

02:08the two of us were hoping for those one on ones and rooting for each other. And then when I got the

02:14one on one, I could tell it was going to be very difficult for her to bring Mel into her very close

02:20family without having that extra time with him. Really tough to see her go. But I'm proud that she's

02:27aware enough. And knows that this isn't just Mel's choice. It's our choice, too.
