Short lived British band active for two albums in early seventies. "Rock Workshop" was the group's debut album, a wonderful musical mix of jazz and rock delivered with some swagger, funky at times, and occasionally with an almost improvision feel. In the two songs "Wade in the water" and "Hole in her stocking" you find the early vocals contribution of Alex Harvey.
Alan Greed, Aleh Harvey - vocals. Ray Russell - guitars, arrangements. Brian Miller - keyboards. Bob Downes, Tony Roberts - tenor saxophone, concerto flute, alto flute. Harry Beckett - trumpet, flugelhorn. Bud Parks - trumpet. Derek Wadsworth - trombone. Laurie Baker - electronics. Daryl Runswick - bass. Robin Jones - drums, congas. Alan Rushton - drums.
You to lose: Overture/Freakout/Main theme-Finale. Wade in the water. Primrose Hill (theme for Jake). Theme for freedom. Spine cop. Ice cold. Hole in her stocking. He looks at me. Mooncross Grove.
