Drew Struzan - the legendary artist who painted some of Hollywood's most famous film posters - has died at the age of 78. Tim Allman looks back at his life and career.

00:54His work captured the humanity, power and emotion of his subjects in ways not seen since.
01:02Drew Struzan was born in the US state of Oregon in 1947.
01:07His artistic talents were obvious from an early age and once he left university, he became an illustrator.
01:13In a career spanning decades, he designed album covers and countless movie posters.
01:20As one of those paying tribute said, he has left us all with so much beauty to enjoy for generations to come.
