00:00But the Mariners had a chance to put the Toronto Blue Jays lights out.
00:03And now we're seeing a two-to-two series and all the life back in the building for the Blue Jays.
00:09Eight runs last night, 11 hits.
00:11The bats continue to rise.
00:12And also, this is what we looked at, Joe, when they're in Toronto.
00:14You're expected to hit in that small ballpark.
00:16It's usually tough to get runs in Seattle.
00:18The Blue Jays turning up the heat in the Pacific Northwest, tying up that series.
00:24Yeah, no, Seattle is beginning to show a little wear and tear, Donnie,
00:29over that brutal schedule.
00:30We were wondering when the adrenaline was going to wear off, right, from them,
00:35because they went from that unbelievable 15-inning marathon against Detroit
00:39in an elimination game.
00:4124 hours later, they're playing and smacking down Toronto,
00:46who had to wait to figure out who it was that they were going to play.
00:49And then now, all of a sudden, they head back home.
00:53And it's like, oh, boy, you were wondering when the wheels might start to fall off a little bit.
00:58And they have.
01:00The fact that a 41-year-old pitcher goes out and goes five and two-thirds,
01:04who hadn't pitched since, you know, September 21th.
01:08And Kudos, not taking anything away from Scherzer.
01:11The old dogs bark.
01:12And, boy, he was barking last night.
01:15But if you're Seattle with an opportunity to go up 3-1 effectively,
01:18ending the series and punching your ticket to a World Series for, oh, I don't know,
01:23the first time, wow, did they not show up here, Donnie, in a big, big way.
01:29And you had to wonder, at what point would that adrenaline wear off?
01:33And at what point would this team come back down to reality?
01:36And the answer is the last couple of games here.
