00:20During the Wednesday, October 15th episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson 43 spoke to guest Mariska Hargite about a piece of wisdom she's been trying to give River Rose as she gets older.
00:32I look at my daughter constantly and I'm just like,
00:35Look, I'm trying my best, Clarkson said.
00:38Know you're going to end up in therapy one day.
00:40I don't know what for, but I'm trying my best to limit it.
00:42It's just like, help out.
00:44Clarkson went on to note that as kids age, they start to understand the decisions their parents made for them.

00:52As we get older, you understand even like if they might have been not great decisions for you, Clarkson continued.

02:10Clarkson was open about how difficult her divorce from Blackstock was, when she previously revealed during her Las Vegas studio sessions residency in July that she was happy staying single.

02:26While a clip from the moment was shared via TikTok on July 20th, it's hard anyway, at a spotlight, and it's like a dumpster fire.
02:35Meanwhile, she also said she was not looking for a romantic partner during a May episode of Today with Jenna and friends because she was very busy.
