00:00We are all here today because there have been some assaults on our children that go to a school literally half a mile away.
00:07The hotel has been full of, I'm going to say, illegal migrants.
00:10Talkie talk!
00:11Illegal migrants for probably five years.
00:14They moved out and then they came back once they set fire to the hotel they didn't like in Northwield.
00:20Since that day, we have been inundated with crime.
00:24We've been, our children are not safe.
00:26Our children are scared to walk around and we've just had enough.
00:30So we're a small town in Epping.
00:32We've got one hotel in Epping, the Bell, and it's been taken over by men, migrant men.
00:38No women, no children.
00:40And since they've arrived, it feels no longer safe in our town.
00:46My daughter went to the gym tonight.
00:48She's 17.
00:48She goes to school here.
00:50We can't wear that anymore.
00:52Can't wear your gym clothes.
00:53You'll get hassled.
00:54We can't, we get hassled in our supermarket.
00:56I went to buy a yoghurt at work yesterday.
01:00Five migrant men just thieving, standing in front of there, eyeing me.
01:06And I just got intimidation left.
01:07Yes, I live up the road there.
01:10And, you know, same as everyone else around here.
01:15We've had enough of our things.
01:16What?
01:17Can I ask?
01:17This is my wife here, right?
01:19That same guy that's been charged with sexual abuse harassed her, right?
01:24Pulling out at the end of our road.
01:25He had beers in his hand, jumping up and down around our car.
01:29And that's the same man that sexually abused that girl.
01:31Just very recently, or I suppose at the moment we have to say alleged,
01:35because he has been arrested for three counts of assault on children
01:40within probably two to three weeks of arriving here.
01:43What type of assault?
01:44Sexual assault.
01:46Uh-huh.
01:46Sexual assault.
01:48It's all about the hotel.
01:49That's it.
01:50That's it, man.
01:50It's the local community.
01:52It's dads, mums, grandmads, nans all coming out to look after their sons,
01:56daughters, nieces, nephews.
01:58You know, it's just to keep them safe.
02:00That's all it is.
02:00That's the only message that needs to be put in a cross.
02:03We don't want them here.
02:04They're all showing their own true colours in their own sort of way.
02:08We've got this.
02:09We've got the community is out.
02:10The community is out to look after...
02:12Save our kids!
02:13A man there just stopped me in the traffic and he said to me,
02:17well done for what you're doing.
02:19And he went, they...
02:20Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:23So he said they crawl through the forest and they're harassing his wife.
02:27They're harassing his wife and his daughters,
02:30crawling through the bushes that are across the road from the hotel here,
02:34harassing his wife and daughters, you know?
02:37Very frustrating.
02:38They're walking up the road, healthy young men, right?
02:40They've got beers in their hand, right?
02:42Walking up, mobile phones.
02:45They're going shoplifting out there.
02:45And they're shoplifting, they're going up the road.
02:48They've got food vouchers, but they want to buy beer with it.
02:51Is that integration?
02:53Right?
02:53Is that someone who wants to support our values?
02:56No.
02:56They're here for a free ride.
02:58And it's so blatant to see.
03:01It's an absolute liberty, right?
03:03And now we can see it.
03:04That's why everyone's here today,
03:06because everyone's had enough of the liberties being taken.
03:08I'm an Indian.
03:09I'm a Sikh.
03:10And I love this country.
03:10I love the British culture.
03:12Like most Sikhs.
03:14This place is becoming...
03:17Well, I don't want to swear on camera.
03:19But you can fucking swear if you want.
03:21But why do you believe...
03:22It's becoming a shithole.
03:24All the shit is being a lad into this country.
03:26We don't feel safe.
03:29We don't know who they are.
03:30And a town can't support that.
03:32Any men doing nothing.
03:35We don't know who they are.
03:36We don't know their background.
03:38And recently, one's recently arrested.
03:41Three sexual attacks that we know of in eight days.
03:44The guys only came here eight days ago.
03:46And then the local press, our local newspaper,
03:50said a local man from Epping has been arrested on sexual abuse.
03:55I wouldn't let my granddaughter out on her own.
03:58Never in a million years.
03:59Yet when I grew up, your kids used to play out until the lights came on.
04:03And then they went home.
04:05You didn't do that today.
04:06There's just too many unknown people in this area.
04:09In every area.
04:11It's just too scary.
04:12It's frightening.
04:13There is a community here that is fearing for their kids.
04:16There is a community here that is worried.
04:18And when children are involved, you're never going to stop a gathering like this.
04:23This is not our country anymore.
04:24With these people walking our streets like this, we are fearful.
04:28We feel for our future.
04:30We feel for our children.
04:31There's a lot that goes about on Facebook from the council.
04:34They claim they've been pushing to get the Spell Hotel shut down.
04:38For years, they've all supported it.
04:40Where are we now?
04:42Where's the solidarity?
04:43For years, we've suffered because there's Spell Hotel.
04:47And I'll tell you what.
04:49They won't come and join us.
04:50Only a small number of councillors are here today.
04:54And the coming elections, we've got to clear them out.
04:57We've got to get rid of them.
04:58Clear out the council.
