McIlroy rules out Ryder Cup captaincy until 2030s

McIlroy said he would love to captain Europe at the Ryder Cup, but hopes he will be playing until 2035

00:29I'm still good enough to play and put points on the on the board for Europe but

00:35yeah absolutely I would I would love to I would love to be a captain one day and I

00:40feel very fortunate that I've had a front row seat at playing under some of the

00:47best captains in history in the Ryder Cup if I can be nearly as good as a captain

00:52as Luke Donald I'll have done a good job so you know hopefully one day in the

00:55future but you know I'd say not until the mid 2030s hopefully if I can keep playing well
