00:00Paul, heartbreaking 3-2 defeat at Sutton, right at the end of extra time in the FA Cup.

00:05Presumably, obviously, frustration at the end, but a lot of pride as well, presumably.

00:09Yeah, it's a mixed bag, you know, I was just saying before,

00:13it's the frustrations in two of the goals that we conceded tonight,

00:17especially, you know, to make it 2-1 and then it's a carbon copy of making it 3-2 at the end,

00:23you know, the boy steps inside and we've got numbers in there and it's just a simple tackle

00:28and we failed to do it twice, so I'm frustrated and not happy about it, but at the same time,

00:33you flip it and then, you know, 400 supporters here tonight singing the boys on and, yeah,

00:38coming so close, it's, yeah, it's frustrating.

00:41Yeah, I mean, it's another sign of how far the club has come and it continues to go really,

00:45isn't it, tonight, you know?

00:46It is, you know, we've got to take that and fuel that and move forward and, you know,

00:50really respond well in the league. We've got a couple of league games now coming up for another trophy

00:54adventure, but, yeah, we've got to dust ourselves down. I said to them, you know, in there,

00:59dust yourselves down and make sure this hurts to an extent and then you want more nights like this

01:05and, you know, the league can produce that.

01:06Yeah, you've gone toe-to-toe with a National League side who were in League Two 18 months ago,

01:11twice now, you know, in the first game and the replay, led five times. It's only two stoppage time goals,

01:17really, you know, one in the first game and one tonight. That's been the difference really overall,

01:21wasn't it? Yeah, you know, that's the difference in the levels, you know, those little moments

01:24and they've taken them twice and, yeah, we've been punished for it. Yeah, tough one to take,

01:29you know, especially with the chances we had tonight as well. I thought we were the better

01:32side and, you know, like I say, they've run out of ideas and, you know, it got predictable and I

01:37thought the boys done so well with dealing with it. Yeah, and like the first game, again,

01:42you've come here tonight and looked a real threat, had great chances, hit the woodwork twice,

01:45obviously got the two goals. Yeah, again, you've sort of come and really stamped your mark on it,

01:51haven't you? Yeah, it took us a little bit of time tonight, you know, to get the grips with it

01:54and realise, you know, again, we can compete and once we did, you know, we looked the better side

01:58for the large parts, even extra time, you know, we set up really well and they run out of ideas and,

02:04yeah, it's one of them right at the end. Yeah, just one moment, it's killed us.

02:08Yeah, and the first goal to take the lead, that sort of come after a real good spell of pressure,

02:13where you've sort of been building, you know, really sort of building into that for a good

02:1610 minutes before that, a really good spell and then, obviously, Bobby Joe obviously got it,

02:20but you've been building for a while there. Yeah, it was coming, you know, the game was,

02:24not to say opening up, but we're just getting more confident on the ball and, you know, we're

02:27starting to see the pass forward and, yeah, we got in a couple of times and, yeah, like you say,

02:32it was building and the goal coming at a great time. And then, obviously, the two against the

02:36woodwork again, it's just, there's fine moments, it's fine details, isn't it? There's a difference.

02:40It has, yeah, over the two legs, you know, we've had chances to go two in front quite a few times

02:44in this tie and we haven't quite got that second goal, which has maybe cost us, but, yeah, that's

02:50football and cup football and, yeah, we move on. Yeah, pegged back, but you go again for the fifth

02:56time. Oh, indeed, a great leap there to head that home. Yeah, massively, I thought, you know, especially

03:01when we went one-on, I thought we responded really well. We could have folded and, you know,

03:04crumbled under the pressure, but we responded so well, we got on the front foot and we went at them again.

03:09And, yeah, it took late in the second half to get out of the wall with Owen, you know,

03:13he was brave. And then when you saw the chance opening up, you knew there was going to be one

03:18winner and, yeah, he put us in front and we just couldn't see it out. And an extra time,

03:22you know, you think against a full-time side, you know, you're going into 210 minutes, you know,

03:27over three days and, you know, you still were well in the game and had a good structure and extra time

03:33and looked good. Yeah, we looked comfortable. I think we had, you know, the one chance in the first half,

03:38I think Bob's flash one, the keeper's parried it and, you know, it's there for a tap-in.

03:42We just couldn't, didn't have the legs to get in there. And, yeah, oh, so it's tumble.

03:49Yeah, we just, we just didn't have the legs to kill the, you know, let's say kill the game off,

03:53but to get ourselves in front again. And, yeah, a little bit frustrating.

03:58But obviously lots of pride and another special night for the fans, you know, a big turnout to come

04:02here obviously on a Tuesday night and obviously, you know, obviously went over to them quite rightly

04:06at the end to thank them. Yeah, it's a great turnout, you know, that's what we do it for.

04:10To see that, especially in the build-up and at the start of kick-off, you know,

04:15to howl them over in the corner with no shelter and, you know, hard to make noise when they've got an

04:20empty end behind the goal is a little bit strange. But, you know, I suppose they were looking for

04:26advantages and maybe that was one because they were noisy throughout. And I thank them all for telling up.

04:31Obviously it's been a great adventure in the FA Cup, but you've always said the league is the

04:35priority and you sort of get back to that obviously on Saturday after quite a, quite a break. It's

04:38been sort of over three weeks, hasn't it? It is, yeah. So, yeah, you know, we've got a tough task

04:42on our hands now, playing catch-up with other teams above us, you know, especially with 3G and the

04:47bad weather coming in eventually. It's going to be a tall order, but, you know, the boys have shown

04:54they can compete with the National League sides over two games and we'll give it a good go.

05:00Yeah, and it's also straight on to Aymouth on Saturday and the games will come thick and fast,

05:03won't they, Walton and Hershey on Tuesday and then the trophy as well?

05:06Yeah, you know, we like it thick and fast, but we've got to dust ourselves down, make sure we

05:10recover right. You know, Gibbo's got these boys in great shape. You can see over the two legs,

05:15you know, once a week compared to a full-time side. So, massive credit to the Gibbo and the boys for

05:20buying into it.

05:21I presume obviously the boys physically are going to be tired, obviously after, you know, 120 tonight and the 90 on

05:26Saturday. But as you say, they're looking strong and they will recover right and do everything right

05:29for Saturday.

05:30Without a doubt. Yeah, you know, we're used to winning. We like winning. They're no different.

05:35We've got great characters in there and I'm sure we'll be all right on Saturday.
